I moved my one-bedroom apartment last weekend. The movers carried my sofa and bed through a narrow staircase without hitting the walls. Everything was placed exactly where I wanted, and nothing was damaged in the process.
I had no major problems with the move into my new home whatsoever, even though there were parking issues and delays caused by weather.
The movers arrived around 11 am and immediately started working. They had to carry our heavy drawers down the stairs using lifting straps and rolling dollies. The entire transit was on schedule. Great experience.
As soon as they arrived, they got to work without wasting time. They were skilled at slipping heavy objects through narrow openings without being damaged. It was a nice surprise that the relocation was finished faster than anticipated.
There were four of us in all. I haven't worked with such a committed and diligent team in years. They made us feel at home immediately, and they were really careful with our belongings. In addition, the packaging was top-notch.
