I had a terrific experience from the very first interaction. Throughout the entire procedure, the personnel was kind, patient, and kept me updated. Without any unforeseen problems, everything was finished on time. Their meticulousness was just remarkable. I would absolutely utilize their service again.
Fast response for a last-minute storage unit clear-out. I called Swift Shift Van Lines on short notice. They showed up quickly, right on time. We had decades of piled-up items inside. The crew loaded everything efficiently and quickly. They even swept the unit clean before they left. The entire job was finished before noon.
I hired them to just move my oversized, heavy safe. That’s it. Most companies said no or quoted a crazy price. Swift Shift Van Lines said, "Sure, we do that." They brought the right equipment, moved it from my basement to my new basement office, and bolted it down for me. They didn’t mind that it was a weird, small job. They just did it perfectly.
They used mattress bags to protect all our beds, and the movers helped arrange the bedrooms in the new house.
The crew arrived at 8 in the morning and started working immediately. The crew from Swift Shift Van Lines was very careful while walking through the narrow hallways in my old building. I am happy that the total cost stayed within my budget.
My family recently moved from AZ to SD, and we were impressed with their service. The team was friendly and respectful, and they took great care in packing our fragile items, such as glassware and artwork. They used special packing supplies, such as dish pack boxes and paper padding, to keep everything intact and secure during the move.
Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
Terrible deceptive company!!! I I would rate zero stars! This appears to be the biggest Scam operation for moving out there. I was scammed my deposit and the movers didn’t even show up and they refuse to refund my money. They said the truck was too full and they didn’t have anyone available for my entire travel stay of 10 days. There are many complaints online. They are not accredited by Better Business Bureau and many many terrible reviews and complaints. I am a widow and I feel extremely violated by this company and I’m not alone because they’ve done it to many many other people.Do not write them a check you’ll never see your money again, and they won’t provide the services that they claim to provide. They don’t care about you. They are supposedly moving brokers not a moving . It’s a big scam. They will say anything. Very sly and deceptive.
My grandmother’s antiques meant the most to me. Swift Shift Van Lines wrapped each piece, carried the glass cabinet gently, and kept talking to us through what they were doing. That gave me peace of mind.
The best moving company I’ve worked with in a while! They were experienced and dealt very professionally with me. To add to the mix, they were readily available to address any queries I had. The customer service here is superb!
