It is rare to find a company that is this organized. Every person on the crew knew their job, and they worked together like a well-oiled machine.
John worked with his crew during my grandma’s move. He treated her stuff gently, and she kept saying how respectful he was. She even offered them cookies before they left.
I needed a same-state move done quickly, and they delivered. Everything was loaded, transported, and unloaded in record time, yet nothing looked rushed. Each item was safe, which made me feel relieved and grateful.
Swift Shift Van Lines sent some great movers. They stand out because they are so determined. They carefully packed, moved, and unloaded my things without breaking a single thing. I can't find enough good things to say about the movers.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
Everything was well coordinated from the booking to the move. I received an email confirming the date and time of the crew's arrival, an invoice breakdown and a reminder of items to pack. The crew arrived promptly and worked around the clock on moving day until the job was completed safely. I can't say enough nice things about them!
The movers left packing materials, tape, and plastic wraps scattered all over my home. They didn’t bother cleaning up after themselves. I had to spend hours cleaning up the mess they left behind. For the price I paid, I expected them to at least leave my place in decent condition.
We had a great time working with Swift Shift Van Lines, and we'd gladly recommend them to others. With James and his team's aid, our switch from CA to NY went off without a hitch.
Here's how my move played out. I was relocating household items from one living space to another. When the crew arrived, they took a look around and decided what should be moved first. One of the movers secured a loose panel before picking it up. I stayed nearby while they worked through the rooms. Items were handled one at a time. I did not feel lost during the process.
