I had a few antique pieces that belonged to my grandmother, and I was very nervous about moving them. Swift Shift Van Lines took the time to wrap them in extra padding, and everything arrived in perfect condition.
BEWARE. Stay away from this company. They will take your deposit and the day of the move they more than double the price of the move. I specifically told the broker we had 2 10 ft sofas it’s in my contract and the movers said they take up too much space. It was extortion the day of the move. I guess they make there business by keeping your deposit. I paid by credit card and I will fight them. HORRIBLE COMPANY. STAY AWAY.
They were amazingly patient. I made a lot of changes at the last moment and they managed them wonderfully. They spotted that I was behind with packing and pitched in to help finish a few boxes for me. A team that works hard and is so kind!
I’m very thankful to Johnson and his moving squad for helping me move my office from MD to CT. They were very fast and efficient, and they made the move smooth and easy. They helped me move my heavy office chair, which was very hard to maneuver. They also moved my desk, computer, printer, and files without any issues. They were very careful with my documents and data. They packed them in folders and boxes, and they secured them with locks and passwords.
John and Allen went above and beyond to ensure everything was secured, and I'm quite happy with that.
The hardest part was our chicken coop in the backyard. Swift Shift Van Lines helped move it carefully and even made sure the panels stayed together. It was an odd job, but the movers completed it in no time.

The operators gave me a detailed explanation of pricing and didn’t push any unnecessary extras. When moving day arrived, they were all business, neatly wrapping and stacking my boxes. They had a great technique for moving my king-size mattress, which was a huge relief. Everything arrived without a hitch. I’ll definitely use them again.

The movers were patient, spoke clearly, and handled his belongings with respect. There were a lot of little things that mattered to him, and they packed everything with extra care. He was really happy with how everything arrived, and so was I, honestly. It was a huge relief.
I couldn’t be more pleased about my experience with them. Edwin and the team were dedicated workers and took the job seriously. Moreover, they did not take any unnecessarily long breaks, thanks to which, the move wrapped up within the quoted time. I couldn’t have asked for anything else!
