I would use Swift Shift Van Lines again. James moved my fridge without unplugging it first, which I thought was strange, but he explained that waiting for the coils to settle would take too long.
The movers left packing materials, tape, and plastic wraps scattered all over my home. They didn’t bother cleaning up after themselves. I had to spend hours cleaning up the mess they left behind. For the price I paid, I expected them to at least leave my place in decent condition.
the worst movers ever they claimed we got a bunch of discounts, then never applied them. then we want to add a table and they charges us $900. we tried to ask why the table was so expensive, just yelled at us and ended the call. They also did the same thing to our friends also moving to Texas.

We needed to move our furniture out of a home and have it dropped off at two different destinations: one, storage and the other, our new home. The movers were very attentive to our list and made no mistakes. They clearly marked every item, double-checked what was happening while loading, and stayed organized throughout. Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
My experience went safely and satisfactorily with these movers. They do their job right, hiring them again soon for the next shifting help. I would absolutely use them again!
