I do not usually write reviews, but Swift Shift Van Lines was too good. They showed up on time, loaded everything without drama, drove carefully, and unloaded everything exactly where I pointed. That is it. That is the whole story.
Moving day made me nervous, but Richard and the staff put me at ease. David carefully labeled and packed my many boxes into the car. He avoided scuffs when loading my sofa through my small front entry, which I appreciated.
Swift Shift Van Lines facilitated my recent move, and I am grateful. They maintain a high level of professionalism and are a delight to collaborate with. He worked with Carl to get my house packed and moved in under two weeks.
The workers carefully packed our possessions into boxes of varying sizes to guarantee nothing would be damaged while in transit. Many layers of bubble wrap and premium packing tape were used to secure the moving of fragile objects.
They mishandled my refrigerator and washer during the move, leaving dents and scratches on both. When I pointed it out, they said it was my fault for not wrapping them, even though I paid extra for their professional wrapping service. I felt cheated and angry.
Our big dresser was really heavy and hard to move, but these movers had a clever trick. They put these things under it that made it slide easily across the floor without leaving any scratches on our beautiful new hardwood.
I'm relieved that I chose Swift Shift Van Lines to manage the office move. The three movers we hired did a fantastic job. Ascending the staircase, two employees hauled a desk from our previous office, which had to have weighed three hundred pounds or more. They worked very hard without complaining or giving up. I appreciated that the customer service representative took the time to break down the costs for me so I could budget accordingly.
I needed help moving a few office chairs and tables. The workers were respectful, stayed focused on their task, and completed everything within the same morning.
From start to finish, the team was very professional. It was clear they had extensive experience in moving, as they handled each step of the process with care.
