These superheroes with packs saved the day! They efficiently packed up my entire apartment, including my enormous couch, and placed everything in a little box.
Fast response for a last-minute storage unit clear-out. I called Swift Shift Van Lines on short notice. They showed up quickly, right on time. We had decades of piled-up items inside. The crew loaded everything efficiently and quickly. They even swept the unit clean before they left. The entire job was finished before noon.
The movers showed there when expected and followed all of the guidelines precisely. Definitely using these again!

Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
We've done one move all by ourselves but this time we decided to get professional movers to help. It was a vast difference, indeed. We didn't have to pick up heavy furniture, hire extra equipment, or call friends for assistance, and the entire day was much smoother.
Observing these movers at work was like being a fly on the wall for logistics. With an artistic precision, they cradled my enormous bed frame and protected my fragile artwork before loading the car. There was not a single mishap, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
