I called this company because I needed assistance after a mover unexpectedly canceled. When 3 movers showed up on Sunday, they were very friendly and helpful. They did an excellent job, worked swiftly, and were courteous. This team's efforts, which they showed even in the toughest conditions, amazed me. I heartily endorse this company!

I was awestruck with how organized this moving company was. They made unpacking at the new place so much easier. They even double-checked each room before leaving to make sure everything was delivered to the right spot.
I recommend this company to anyone in need of secure relocation assistance. The staff helped me take my belongings downstairs and took good care of my TV and furnishings (unlike other firms who chuck stuff in the vehicle). They arrived 10 minutes early. He assisted me in moving all of the furniture into the rooms of the new home when we moved into our new house, and he removed his shoes upstairs to protect my newly installed carpeting.
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
Solid work from Swift Shift Van Lines. They handled the loading and unloading with a lot of skill and did not waste any time standing around. I found the movers to be very helpful when I asked them to move the heavy bookshelf a second time. The truck was well-maintained, and the crew stayed on task until the very last box was inside.
They were the most incredible people ever. They treated the clients' possessions with great care and diligence. No matter how much the transfer cost, these two made you feel as though it was well worthwhile.
