We've done one move all by ourselves but this time we decided to get professional movers to help. It was a vast difference, indeed. We didn't have to pick up heavy furniture, hire extra equipment, or call friends for assistance, and the entire day was much smoother.

So my move was complicated because my new place has a really narrow hallway. I warned them about it when they got here. The guys just nodded, measured it, and figured out a plan on the spot. They angled my bookcase perfectly and got it through without a scratch on the wall or the furniture. I was amazed.
Price doubled when movers showed up and started loading , then when my furniture showed up, there was over $7000 in damage and rendered most things useless. Multiple phone calls led no where and insurance doesnt reply.
I had to move heavy garage tools, including a big tool chest. The movers loaded it with a dolly, secured everything tightly, and placed it exactly where I asked in the new garage. It was handled perfectly.
