Very pleased! We had their packing-only option, and I'm so glad we did. They removed all our kitchen, glassware and artwork in a couple of hours. All components were clearly marked and easy to reassemble afterward. Huge time-saver!
I finally moved back to my hometown after ten years away. The drive was long, but this team made the actual loading part the easiest bit of the whole trip. They just got stuck in and handled my mountain of kitchen boxes and old books without any drama. It was nice to deal with people who didn't complain about the heat. It was very easy to move across the country because of Swift Shift Van Lines! From the first meeting, when they planned our transfer, to the arrival of our belongings. The team was considerate, on time, and cautious with our furnishings. No object broke because of their extreme caution, and they advised me on furnishing our new home!
They worked faster than I expected while still paying close attention to detail. From carefully stowing each item away to taking doors off their hinges as needed, their expertise shone through in every detail.
I've moved four times in the last six years, and this was by far the smoothest one. Swift Shift Van Lines kept things simple, they told me what they needed from me, showed up when they said they would, and just got it done. My neighbor actually stopped to ask me which company I used while they were still loading the truck.
Before moving, I needed to get rid of a lot of old basement junk and broken furniture. I added their haul-away service to the moving package. The crew quickly removed all the unwanted items right from the basement. This saved me a lot of time and heavy lifting before the actual moving day.
We had a few antique items that required special handling, and we appreciated how seriously they took the job. They wrapped each piece in layers, double-checked their placement in the truck, and delivered them in great shape to our studio apartment. We couldn’t have asked for more!
