I'm relieved that I chose Swift Shift Van Lines to manage the office move. The three movers we hired did a fantastic job. Ascending the staircase, two employees hauled a desk from our previous office, which had to have weighed three hundred pounds or more. They worked very hard without complaining or giving up. I appreciated that the customer service representative took the time to break down the costs for me so I could budget accordingly.
A crew assisted with moving my hunting gear and some metal safes last week. They hauled the locked boxes to the new property. Everything stayed secure during the drive across the county line.
The driver avoided delays and traffic bottlenecks by using the best routes. To avoid any damage or unexpected drops, the movers loaded and unloaded using a ramp.
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
These superheroes with packs saved the day! They efficiently packed up my entire apartment, including my enormous couch, and placed everything in a little box.
The movers stayed patient as I made last-minute changes. They didn’t complain once; instead, they quickly adjusted things and kept working hard. That flexibility made the entire relocation process so much easier than I anticipated.
10 out of 10 for how the move turned out. I was helping set up for a small family event and needed help moving supplies to the venue. The crew came early, took a quick look around, and got right to it. Each item was packed with care and loaded in the order I suggested. They didn’t slow down or ask for instructions over and over.
Honestly, I thought I would be moving stress with this company with order number MC-2402, but I was pleasantly surprised. The crew arrived with a plan, was confident and did each room one at a time.
