Read More Alliyana went over and above with customer service: she called to inform me that my unit was not actually locked properly (had the padlock on it but not correctly)i in effect had been so since my last visit in JANUARY. She was doing her routine checks and noticed it-in letting me know, I was able to secure the unit properly. Many thanks to her for looking out for me, and for her friendly and positive attitude. We were very skeptical about all movers/pods, because you read so many horrifying reviews. But we are very glad we choose Smart Box. The sales associate was upfornt about ... Read More We were very skeptical about all movers/pods, because you read so many horrifying reviews. But we are very glad we choose Smart Box. The sales associate was upfornt about the cost, they delivered the container when the said they would, when it was time to pick it up, the driver waited an extra 30 minutes to come pick the container up because we were running a little late, and they did not try to charge us anything more than what our original price was. The only thing we were not satisified with is we almost had to wait a couple of extra days to pick our stuff up because the corperate office did not fax our paperwork to the location where our container was delivered. But the guys who were there made some phone calls and got the info needed and we were able to pick our stuff up. Thanks Smart Box!!

Boxes were to be delivered Friday. They never came. I called the central number twice. they tried to contact the MD office. I was told I was on the delivery schedule, and ... Read More Boxes were to be delivered Friday. They never came. I called the central number twice. they tried to contact the MD office. I was told I was on the delivery schedule, and they should arrive, but they couldn't reach anyone directly. So called Saturday, and was told the office is closed on the weekend. SO I cancelled the contract. I was planning to load the boxes this weekend and now I am screwed. Zero communication from the delivering office. Don't bother if you are in MD, they are unreliable.

Read More The staff are friendly and professional. They are clear about the rental expectations, so you know exactly how everything works and helpful if you have questions. The only thing is, I wish they offered a second box size and that they would offer a prorated amount if you don't need it for the whole month. Either way, I'm a return customer anyway, so I would recommend giving them a shot.
