On Monday, we moved as a corporate body, so we decided to move on the weekend. The crew worked both Saturday and Sunday through. The office was ready to go from the start of Monday morning. The time frame we needed.
The transfer was smooth, from pick-up to delivery. The team was polite, took care of the belongings, and processed them relatively well.
We had a narrow step and up to about four pieces of furniture that we managed to get in through the doors. The movers didn't rush those pieces. I was worried about any damage to anything, but nothing was.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was by far the worst and most unprofessional moving experience I've ever had. Not only was my final price approximately $1,500 higher than the original estimate, but my delivery was also delayed by nearly a full week. What made matters even worse was that I wasn't informed of the delay, I had to call the company myself on the day I was expecting my delivery to find out it wasn't coming. I had already flown to my new home specifically to receive my belongings that weekend, based on the delivery timeframe I had been repeatedly given since this was an over 1,000 mile move. Instead, I spent additional money on travel and accommodations and had to sleep on an air mattress while waiting for my furniture to arrive. When my belongings finally showed up almost a week late, the movers didn't arrive until around 7:00 p.m. and didn't leave until 9:30 p.m. I was also told that the furniture they disassembled during pickup would be reassembled upon delivery. That did not happen. Instead, I was told it would cost an additional $100 per person to put my own furniture back together, and the movers didn't even bring the proper tools, they had to use my personal tools. To make matters worse, some of the screws needed to reassemble the furniture were missing. On top of that, several of my belongings arrived damaged, including brand new items I had purchased for my new home, and I am still missing multiple items. Trying to resolve these issues has been an absolute nightmare. Every time I call, I'm told someone will call me back, and they never do. It has now been three weeks since my delivery, and I recently learned that virtually nothing had been done regarding my missing property claim. I understand that mistakes happen. However, this wasn't one or two isolated mistakes. It was a pattern of misinformation, poor communication, missed commitments, unexpected charges, damaged property, and a complete lack of follow through. The communication between the broker, dispatch, customer service, and the movers was incredibly disorganized and confusing. Every person I spoke with seemed to provide different information, making an already stressful move even more frustrating. Overall, I feel completely misled and scammed throughout this process. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company to think carefully before trusting them with their belongings.
I was concerned about relocating my piano, but the movers did an excellent job of it. They tied it up properly, made sure that it got safely to my new home and placed it right in my line of sight. Outstanding work.
I really didn't want to move my huge glassware and ceramic collection. The movers took extra precautions to protect all of my items, and they used custom crates for items that were fragile and delicate, and they treated each box with care. I was delighted to get it all together!
Team was on time and immediately started to load. All the goods were safely transported and delivered there without any significant problems.
The crew leader strolled through the house before and after moving to make sure they had no special instructions or damage. There is not much more accountable than that.
The family expected the move to finish by the afternoon, but unexpected delays pushed everything into the evening. Unpacking had to wait until the next day, making the transition more tiring than planned.
There were a variety of boxes, furniture, and some bizarrely shaped objects. The crew worked very efficiently and seemed to have an effective approach to loading the truck. They set the heavier materials in place and separated the boxes. Overall, they executed the job extremely professionally.
