Read More I told my husband we did not need movers and that we could handle it ourselves. I was wrong, and I will fully admit that. After one hour of trying to get our sofa through the front door with three people and failing completely, we called Safeway Moving Inc. They arrived and had that sofa out and loaded within 20 minutes. The rest of the move went just as smoothly, and I have never been happier to admit I was wrong about something.

I had 3 large sofas that I was really worried about fitting through the new front door, but Richard assessed it before they even tried and angled them through without any damage to the walls or the furniture. Nothing went missing, and nothing got scratched up, and David checked in with me a couple of times during the move just to make sure I was okay with how things were going. Read More With these movers, I would use extreme caution. They say they thoroughly investigate employees' backgrounds, but I don't think that's true. I am positive that they were the ones that stole one of my pricey items. I regret to inform you that there are some nasty apples among them. I would never, ever suggest making a reservation with them. That they are unaware that they have thieves working for them and that I let them inside my house disappoints me greatly. NEVER AGAIN!

They labeled every box clearly for each department. They reassembled all the furniture in the right spots by lunch. Our IT guy said the computer setup was the smoothest he's seen. We were back to work the next morning.
