Read More I would not recommend Safeway if you are moving long distance and you need your belongings in a timely fashion. The sales people will mislead you to believe that your belongings will arrive promptly and then your items will sit in a warehouse for weeks until they decide it’s convenient to begin transporting to the destination. This is unacceptable. They tell you “it can take up to 30 days” and I should have never agreed to that. They will mislead you by saying “most shipments take 5-14 days” and it’s complete BS. I will never use Safeway again.

Read More When I rang up Safeway Moving Inc, I instantly felt at ease. The person on the other end patiently listened as I jabbered about my stuff, from my huge old mirror to my delicate teacups. On moving day, the gang showed up right on the dot, all dressed up and ready to roll, with everything they needed. They were super careful, wrapping each thingy up snug as a bug so nothing got hurt. Even my skinny staircase didn't throw them off.

They used angled large furniture like our sectional sofa and king-sized bed through tight spaces perfectly. They did it with such precision and care that everything arrived in one piece. The movers arrived promptly and handled the entire packing process swiftly without compromising the care of my fragile items. Every box was neatly labeled, and they completed the job ahead of time, which was great. I cannot recommend them enough!

The crew also made to pad the insides of the cartons and boxes with thick fabric cloth for extra protection. Thanks to all the protective measures they took, all my possessions arrived in one piece. Read More I’ve moved interstate and intrastate many times and Safeway Moving definitively takes the cake as the most incompetent moving company I’ve ever worked with. Not only did they irreparably damage my expensive dining room table, they completely lost my patio table, 1 night stand (out of a set of 2), and half a trundle bed (inexplicably delivered literally half the bed frame). They also lost several boxes of odds & ends. When these issues were addressed with the delivery team they just shrugged in apathy. When addressed with corporate, it was more apathy and I was directed to file a claim through a third party service provider that will take at least 120 days to address any issues, at which time Safeway will assuredly try to lowball me on a settlement and kick the can down the road as long as they’re legally able. This organization represents everything wrong with the moving industry. Save yourself a big headache and a lot of money and literally book with any other moving company. It can’t possibly be worse than these inept troglodytes.

The hospitality and professionalism their staff showed me absolutely sets them apart from the rest. Plus, the move was handled expertly by the movers too. I cannot recommend them enough!
