The team was focused and careful from the start. They labeled everything clearly so I knew what went where, and it helped me avoid downtime. I set up service with Regal Van Lines LLC on May 18th. They represented themselves as an moving company on the phone, but they are actually a broker. I got a call on June 20th for a quality assurance check. I told him the items and about how much truck space I would need. That jumped by bill from $3000+ to $7500+. I was charged for packaging materials, even though I had everything bubbled wrap already. I decided to remove some items and transport them myself. He refused to void the Bill of Lading and draft a new one. I thought I could use the card on file to pay for the movers. That turned into another fiasco. The top worse moment for me had to be the rep telling me he’ll check the recorded calls because I’m wrong and I’m a liar. Then called me back 2hrs later telling me the calls had been deleted. Even though they just listened to them early that day when I called in for another issue with them. I was also told that I was charged so much because I didn’t have a big load, so they would’ve lost money on my account (this came from the movers). The Bill of Lading also wasn’t accurate, there was less. The itemized checklist was outdated too. It took the movers (2 individuals) less than 40 mins to load everything.
With grace and efficiency, these men moved me from an apartment on the third story that did not have an elevator. Without a peep of complaint, they arrived on schedule, carefully packed all of the furniture, and carried everything downstairs.
Everyone I talked to at work was really helpful, informed, and professional. I was worried about packing and the lengthy drive from AZ to NY, but Regal Van Lines made it all go well. There was no damage or breakage.
Their service, from packing to unloading, was exceptional. Their meticulousness in wrapping my fragile items was astounding.
It wasn't ideal to move during a snowfall, but they made it easy. They took expert care of our kitchen equipment and glassware, and they covered our upholstered furniture with waterproof coverings. To keep things tidy, the crew laid down floor runners. They handle our art collection and plants with great precision.
