I set up service with Regal Van Lines LLC on May 18th. They represented themselves as an moving company on the phone, but they are actually a broker. I got a call on June 20th for a quality assurance check. I told him the items and about how much truck space I would need. That jumped by bill from $3000+ to $7500+. I was charged for packaging materials, even though I had everything bubbled wrap already. I decided to remove some items and transport them myself. He refused to void the Bill of Lading and draft a new one. I thought I could use the card on file to pay for the movers. That turned into another fiasco. The top worse moment for me had to be the rep telling me he’ll check the recorded calls because I’m wrong and I’m a liar. Then called me back 2hrs later telling me the calls had been deleted. Even though they just listened to them early that day when I called in for another issue with them. I was also told that I was charged so much because I didn’t have a big load, so they would’ve lost money on my account (this came from the movers). The Bill of Lading also wasn’t accurate, there was less. The itemized checklist was outdated too. It took the movers (2 individuals) less than 40 mins to load everything.
I seldom write online reviews, but this company deserves it. Their workers made a stressful day run smoothly. They labeled boxes, loaded everything logically for unloading, and carefully separated breakables. It was like watching experts at work. They placed safety mats under furniture to protect my newly laid hardwood floors. Because of their attention to detail, I'll hire them again when I need movers.
I had to move my king-sized bed and a hefty dining table that were too large for me to handle alone, even though I was only moving a few streets away. The movers arrived with a large truck and all the necessary equipment to transport everything safely. They carefully covered the furniture with plastic wrap and blankets. They assisted me with a few small items I forgot. They ensured that the furniture was arranged exactly where I wanted it in my new house and finished everything in just a few hours. The process went really well!
They do not deserve 1 star. Beware, they will bait and switch you on your move. Our original estimate was $2900. On our quality assurance call 5 days before move they said it was now going to be $9400. Sabrina and Amy are very rude.
Unfortunately, one of our pieces of furniture was just too big to squeeze through the door. Instead of just shoving the door hinges out, they cautiously removed them and replaced them.
Worst moving experience I’ve ever had! They overpacked the truck and ended up leaving half my belongings behind. My desk is completely scratched, and their customer support has been ignoring my calls. I regret ever hiring them!
Great and reliable moving service. We had very smooth and stress free move to our new apartment; thanks to 3 skilled and experienced movers. They were very fast and helped us to pack and unpack as well. Highly recommended!
