I set up service with Regal Van Lines LLC on May 18th. They represented themselves as an moving company on the phone, but they are actually a broker. I got a call on June 20th for a quality assurance check. I told him the items and about how much truck space I would need. That jumped by bill from $3000+ to $7500+. I was charged for packaging materials, even though I had everything bubbled wrap already. I decided to remove some items and transport them myself. He refused to void the Bill of Lading and draft a new one. I thought I could use the card on file to pay for the movers. That turned into another fiasco. The top worse moment for me had to be the rep telling me he’ll check the recorded calls because I’m wrong and I’m a liar. Then called me back 2hrs later telling me the calls had been deleted. Even though they just listened to them early that day when I called in for another issue with them. I was also told that I was charged so much because I didn’t have a big load, so they would’ve lost money on my account (this came from the movers). The Bill of Lading also wasn’t accurate, there was less. The itemized checklist was outdated too. It took the movers (2 individuals) less than 40 mins to load everything.
I was concerned that the movers would have to haul bulky furniture up many flights of stairs because I live in a walk-up apartment. They used the stairs without complaining and never asked for extra charges for extra effort. They placed everything quickly and carefully without dropping anything or scratching the walls.
I hired the movers to help me move across the country and they did everything right. I was always informed about what was happening, so I never missed any news. It was exactly as I had hoped when the truck arrived.
I planned a cross-state move with several large furniture pieces, including a vintage dresser and a few fragile items. Regal Van Lines made the process incredibly easy, and Joseph kept me updated along the way. The entire crew was efficient, careful, and respectful of my belongings. Everything arrived exactly as packed. I couldn't have asked for a more professional and smooth experience.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We had a horrible experience with this company. They lied to us multiple times including misleading us on the pricing by quoting. They did not move all of our belongings. Delivery was late and only one man showed up to unload our stuff up a flight of stairs. We did not get all of our belongings and we ended up with a box that was not ours. Zero customer service as they don't return calls or emails.
Prompt and expert support. The staff was respectful of our home by not bringing dirt or grime inside, dressing in uniform, and using clean equipment. That degree of care for detail made me happy.
Easily the best relocation experience we’ve had in a while! Their moving team respected our home and our time. They showed up on the dot, brought all necessary packing supplies, laid mats in the hallway, and checked in multiple times to ensure we were satisfied. We wouldn’t think twice about hiring them again!
Although packing our delicate ceramics collection was daunting, the movers took great care to treat each item. For optimal protection, they packed, cushioned, and padded every component. Because of their superb packing, we received our collection undamaged. They have our sincere gratitude!
I had to move in the middle of winter during a snowstorm, and I really thought we’d have to reschedule. But the movers came prepared with tarps, towels, and covered the floors to protect against slush. They worked carefully but efficiently, and nothing got wet or damaged. I didn’t expect them to go through with it, but I’m glad they did. Everything arrived safe and dry, and I appreciated how cautious they were.
