But the moving crew from this company came to my rescue and I didn’t even have to lift a finger. Everything was packed and delivered safely to my new place within 5 days! I wouldn’t think twice about hiring them again!
I had a long-distance move that included fragile art pieces, a vintage lamp, and some tricky electronics. James and the team from Regal Van Lines were amazing from start to finish. They brought extra packing materials, labeled everything clearly, and triple-checked the loading process. Not a single thing was damaged.
In September 2024, we contracted with Regal Van Lines to move our household goods from Tucson, AZ to Drain, OR. We also solicited multiple quotes to move a 45’ High Cubic shipping container between the same locations. Regal Van Line’s quote was the lowest, and because we had already contracted with them to move our household goods, and because we had not yet encountered their Bait and Switch tactics (described in FMCSA Report 181749567), on 10/01/2024, we also contracted with them to move the shipping container. Their pricing estimate was $5,000, and we were required to make a $2,000 advance payment. They were supposed to pick up the container on 10/27/2024. They never, ever, ever moved the shipping container. I called them at least 6 times to find out the status and when it would be moved. Every time, I was given an excuse for why my questions could not be answered at the time, and a promise to call me back before the end of the day. Not one time did I ever receive the promised call back. I presume that because they encountered such an enormous push back on their Bait and Switch tactic to move our household goods, they decided it would not be prudent or feasible to try to do it on the shipping container, also. Regardless of the reason, the fact is that they never ever made any attempt whatsoever to move our shipping container. Two and half months later, we contracted with another carrier who moved the container in less than a week for about $8,300. We have followed Regal Van Lines procedures to contest charges or request a refund. We have received no response whatsoever from them. At this point, in regards specifically to the shipping of the container, they have $2,000 of our money, refuse to give it back, and have taken no actions whatsoever to move the container. It was still sitting in its original location as of 12/19/24 (it was picked up on that date by the other carrier).
We had a very tight deadline for our move, and these movers came through in a clutch! They were able to schedule us on short notice and worked tirelessly to get everything loaded and unloaded within the timeframe. They maneuvered some bulky furniture through tight corners without a scratch. We were so grateful for their flexibility and hard work.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We had a horrible experience with this company. They lied to us multiple times including misleading us on the pricing by quoting. They did not move all of our belongings. Delivery was late and only one man showed up to unload our stuff up a flight of stairs. We did not get all of our belongings and we ended up with a box that was not ours. Zero customer service as they don't return calls or emails.
We moved during a heatwave, which was not ideal, but you wouldn’t have known it from the movers’ energy. They showed up early with all the necessary gear and powered through with smiles on their faces. They packed and loaded our entire 3-bedroom apartment like experts. Despite the weather, they didn’t rush through anything and even offered to reassemble our bed frames so we wouldn’t have to sleep on the floor. That kind of thoughtfulness stands out!
It was difficult to relocate from our 5th-floor flat without an elevator, yet these movers didn't hesitate. In addition to handling all the heavy lifting and navigating the stairs easily, they arranged our new home exactly as we had imagined. They delivered excellent service!
My last-minute moving date adjustments should have been disastrous, but this company's staff was accommodating. They provided excellent service despite modifying their timetable to suit me. I appreciate their expertise and understanding!
I had a ton of heavy equipment in my garage, like power tools, machines, and a large workbench. I wasn’t sure how the movers would handle it all, but they showed up with the right equipment and moved everything with ease. They carefully loaded everything, and nothing was damaged. It felt like they knew exactly how to handle each piece. I’m really impressed with their professionalism.
