All my fitness equipment arrived at the new house without any problems. Because they had planned the process well and worked together closely, this part went without a hitch.
We were moving just across the neighborhood, but our toddler made packing and organizing a bit chaotic. Thankfully, the movers didn't mind. They worked around our mess, offered suggestions on how to box a few things more effectively, and maintained a positive attitude. I expected the day to feel overwhelming, but it ended up going pretty smoothly thanks to their flexibility.
I seldom write online reviews, but this company deserves it. Their workers made a stressful day run smoothly. They labeled boxes, loaded everything logically for unloading, and carefully separated breakables. It was like watching experts at work. They placed safety mats under furniture to protect my newly laid hardwood floors. Because of their attention to detail, I'll hire them again when I need movers.
Their service, from packing to unloading, was exceptional. Their meticulousness in wrapping my fragile items was astounding.
In September 2024, we contracted with Regal Van Lines to move our household goods from Tucson, AZ to Drain, OR. We also solicited multiple quotes to move a 45’ High Cubic shipping container between the same locations. Regal Van Line’s quote was the lowest, and because we had already contracted with them to move our household goods, and because we had not yet encountered their Bait and Switch tactics (described in FMCSA Report 181749567), on 10/01/2024, we also contracted with them to move the shipping container. Their pricing estimate was $5,000, and we were required to make a $2,000 advance payment. They were supposed to pick up the container on 10/27/2024. They never, ever, ever moved the shipping container. I called them at least 6 times to find out the status and when it would be moved. Every time, I was given an excuse for why my questions could not be answered at the time, and a promise to call me back before the end of the day. Not one time did I ever receive the promised call back. I presume that because they encountered such an enormous push back on their Bait and Switch tactic to move our household goods, they decided it would not be prudent or feasible to try to do it on the shipping container, also. Regardless of the reason, the fact is that they never ever made any attempt whatsoever to move our shipping container. Two and half months later, we contracted with another carrier who moved the container in less than a week for about $8,300. We have followed Regal Van Lines procedures to contest charges or request a refund. We have received no response whatsoever from them. At this point, in regards specifically to the shipping of the container, they have $2,000 of our money, refuse to give it back, and have taken no actions whatsoever to move the container. It was still sitting in its original location as of 12/19/24 (it was picked up on that date by the other carrier).
The whole moving process went by pretty smoothly, thanks to Jack and the team. James was cool about checking the room layouts before they started shifting things around. They carefully loaded up the truck, ensuring there were no loose items to rattle. They took their time with the heavier items and made sure everything was balanced out. When we arrived, Joseph had already figured out the best spots for the furniture, saving us from figuring it out ourselves. It felt like a team that knew what they were doing.
I had a ton of heavy equipment in my garage, like power tools, machines, and a large workbench. I wasn’t sure how the movers would handle it all, but they showed up with the right equipment and moved everything with ease. They carefully loaded everything, and nothing was damaged. It felt like they knew exactly how to handle each piece. I’m really impressed with their professionalism.
