After 27 years of military moves with companies like Mayflower, NorthAmerican and JK, I know quality. Now that I'm honorably retired, I guess I get to see the other side ... Read More After 27 years of military moves with companies like Mayflower, NorthAmerican and JK, I know quality. Now that I'm honorably retired, I guess I get to see the other side of the coin. After destroying over $2000 of our household goods during shipment and storage from Olympia to San Antonio, Susan M. Of their company abruptly said that she'd only approve $700 worth of damage and cut us a check for $200. She ignored the value of a handed down Chinese crystal platter that was smashed into 17 pieces. She said an $800 destroyed cermamic kiln has no value since it's hard to ship those intact without damage. Had your packers said, "the Chinese platter will be replaced for $13 and the kiln not at all", we'd have gone with someone else. I'd love to leave this review across every social media platforms and networks available so that other veterans will know that once you hang the uniform up.

The storage unit policy isnt stated anywhere on anything that I signed, but they insist that they have terms and conditions that apply to every move that arent spelled out for the customer. No wonder they have nothing but 1-star reviews and a full team of people to immediately respond to BBB complaints

The sales rep conveniently omits crucial details in discussions and forgets to include essential items like boxes, unpacking options, and third-party service timelines in the quote. The final bill ended up being a staggering $3000 more than the original quote. To make matters worse, the company supervisor's level of concern and care was nothing short of rudeness. I strongly caution anyone reading this review against using this deceitful company that inflates prices, misrepresents services, and displays a shocking disregard for their clients. Steer clear at all costs!

The movers threw our household goods into boxes, they used our clothes as packing material, they did not follow any direction and did not finish the pack-out. They dropped our flat-screen TV at least four times, jammed our clock in with a painting and knew they had bent the clock up. We called and the support was not existing.

The quote was provided by Phil ** at L&J Moving and Storage in Pottstown, PA and is guaranteed to no more than the quote and will refund to client if the actual weight is less than estimated. On the moving date and delivery date, the moving coordinator (Dara **) texted me to check how thing was going and offered to help if anything goes wrong. When I need to delay delivery date due to unexpected factor, the company accommodated my request without additional cost. The driver (Jim) arrived on time both on the moving data and delivery date as scheduled. The claim for minor damages was handled by a claim analyst (Amy **) without any hassle. A small refund was issued after the moving is completed and details were audited because the actual weight is less than estimated. I am 100% satisfied and will work with North American Van Lines again for future moving.

Read More We chose American Van Lines for our move from Central Florida to North Carolina and we are very glad we did. The entire process from the initial on-site visit, to the pickup and delivery of our furnishings, was very pleasant and without any issues. The entire staff and crew (Antoinette, Kim, Duane, Montana and Mo) were great to work with. Our driver, Duane kept in touch with us the entire time and was able to deliver our furnishings early (before Christmas) which was great
