Moving company in Dallas, TX
I called them for a small job, just moving about 15 big items from a storage unit to my new garage. They quoted me a 2-hour minimum. They finished in 1 hour and 45 minutes and only charged me for the time they worked.
Communication throughout the move was frustrating. We were not always informed when the schedule changed or when the crew was running behind. Waiting without clear updates made the whole process more stressful. A more reliable communication process was needed.
To get us from AZ to SD, I had intended to hire them. I read these evaluations while I awaited the last email and phone call to finalize the arrangement. And we owe it all to the assessments that kind people like you gave us. I made the decision to cut off all communication with them after reading your remarks.
In order to secure my move and prevent increased expenses during the hectic summer months, I made a deposit in February. It's unresponsive when you try to set up the actual move itself. I never received the reimbursement I asked for. SCAM
Even though I've done a lot of moving in my day, working with New Destiny Van Lines was the most stressful experience I've ever had. One of the iconic pieces of Armani was also broken. My orders not only took a very long time to arrive (six weeks!), but also arrived on the very last day before New Destiny Van Lines was legally obligated to repay part of my expenses.
I had to move everything within a very short time frame, which could have been stressful. However, the team worked efficiently and with great care, ensuring that all of my belongings were packed securely. They didn’t waste any time and kept the process moving smoothly from start to finish.
I had to unexpectedly change my closing date at the last minute, forcing a new moving schedule. I called the company office, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible. They successfully moved my date forward by two days without penalty. I truly appreciate their willingness to adapt to my difficult situation.
The moving process was far more stressful than expected due to poor communication and scheduling issues. I had to follow up multiple times for updates, which made the experience frustrating. Overall, I was disappointed with the service.
Don't go using them. They give off a friendly vibe, but if they ever show up, you can count on them to wreck your place and steal your stuff. The front desk clerk, John, was really detailed, but unfortunately, it was the best part of the experience. On the day of the move, James texted that the men would come around noon but were running late. As of nine o'clock, they were late. They sent two guys to start working at 1:00, and they came at 1:30. But the boys were so rude and they talked to me in a very bad way. They damaged my stuff as well and I am not going to call them again.
Some fragile household belongings were not packed with enough protection. The outer packaging on a few boxes also looked worn when they arrived. This raised concerns about how the items had been handled during transportation. More consistent packing would have provided greater peace of mind.
