I've always been scared of moving, so I was surprised that things went more smoothly this time, especially with their movers. My move planner, Rich, was always available on call and made sure to get my opinion before making any choices. The delivery was on time, and everything arrived safely.
Beware beware beware, we were dealing with a senior moving consultant that stated he would be our point of contact from start to finish. We ended up cancelling the move same day verbally and figured we better follow it up with a paper trail the next day through email. Now a month later, we still have not received our $2918.92 back. They are giving us the run around and stating that they never received a cancellation email. We have opened a dispute with our credit union. Hopefully we won’t be defrauded out of this money. Horrible!!! Note to future movers. Look up their DOT number… if it says “broker” RUN! You want a Carrier!!!
The moving crew was great. They arrived on time and put on shoe covers before entering my home. They carefully disassembled my bed frame and placed each part in a bag with its ID. They used small, sturdy boxes for each item and bubble-wrapped my fragile items. They checked each room again to ensure that nothing was missed.
