My move involved 14 cubicles, chairs, and a conference table. The movers took each cubicle apart and numbered the panels, so reassembly was quick. At the new building, everything went back together exactly as it was before. I appreciated how organized they kept the process. We moved our family from NJ to DE after my partner accepted a position overseas. The crew handled the furniture, clothes, and electronics carefully. They explained the customs paperwork step by step. Everything was delivered directly to our new apartment.
Beware beware beware, we were dealing with a senior moving consultant that stated he would be our point of contact from start to finish. We ended up cancelling the move same day verbally and figured we better follow it up with a paper trail the next day through email. Now a month later, we still have not received our $2918.92 back. They are giving us the run around and stating that they never received a cancellation email. We have opened a dispute with our credit union. Hopefully we won’t be defrauded out of this money. Horrible!!! Note to future movers. Look up their DOT number… if it says “broker” RUN! You want a Carrier!!!
