Positive experience
I had a positive experience with Midland van lines. They gave me a good deal and moved me like a king! The moving team came on time and packed everything up very quickly. All the glassware, fragile items and expensive items were nicely packed and moved. The furniture was also nicely carried and moved. Not a single dent and not a single damage! I really loved how everything was returned back to me in one piece. My experience was great! I highly recommend this moving company!

Excellent pricing and service
If you need a very good moving company and also at a reasonable amount, hire Midland van lines. They are the one for you! They are very efficient, skilled and professional. They will move you like no other! They have the best team that will take care of everything for you. I hired them a month ago and they made my move so easy and smooth. They came on time and packed everything with care. Not just the packing, they moved everything very carefully too! There were no damages in the end and the price did not change. You can rely on this moving company!

Team members are honest!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience we had with Midland Van Lines. The moving men were punctual, careful with our large and small items including huge bed and a gas grill. They wrapped glass top tables, beds and dressers and disassembled and reassembled everything just the way we wanted. They didn’t let us lift a finger. They kept everything tidy and handled my wardrobe with such care. Super nice guys! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! You guys are the BEST!

Dishonest/no transparency/DO NOT HIRE
Please do not book with them. They quote you a lower price at first just to make sure you don’t go with other companies. Once they get you to secure your booking, they start acting funny. My broker Mark was very active in following up, making sure I paid the deposit bla bla. I received multiple calls from different reps about rescheduling my pick up starting a week before pick up. They even rescheduled on me two days after they initially changed the date. I had to call and complain that I was on a time crunch and need to move out of my apartment ASAP. The driver did not make it to my apartment until my final move out date at like 5pm. Knowing I didn’t have any choice at that point, they came and looked at my stuff. The guy charged me extra 900 saying they go by cubic feet and my quote was for just 300 cubic but if I pay the extra 900 they can take all my stuff. Mind you, the agent Mark already accounted for all my stuff at the initial beginning and said based on my stuff I wouldn’t have to pay extra. Ok fast forward, I had no choice and paid the stuff. After 7 days, the driver called and said my stuff were being delivered. This guy came with an 18 wheeler truck to my apartment and said I have to pay for a mini truck to get my stuff into the apartment. Boom, another additional 600 was charged. ( I offered to get the U-Haul myself because we all know it costs less than 600 but the guy said no or Id move the stuff into my apartment myself) SCAM 🚨.Meaning I ended up paying 1500 more of fees on top of my quote. My main problem is that just be honest with customers up front instead of lying to get them to book cuz you offered low price. A low price knowing you’ll bump it up more at the end which is more expensive than what the competition offered. To be honest, everything just sucked and was horrible. I wouldn’t advise booking them for your moving needs. They are predators and very dishonest. They take advantage of people

Hiring them was the best idea!
I got to know about Midland van lines from a colleague and I am so glad that I hired them! They made my life so much easier! I was so tense about moving, but the guys from this company made this experience very smooth and easy. The guys came on time and moved everything with care. They moved the furniture very nicely and did not damage anything while they were passing the narrow hallways. They were clearly very efficient and professional. They moved me without any damage at all! Thank you once again! I will recommend this company to everyone.

Worst Joke Ever.
Worst company to go through. I would never bother with these people. They broke half our stuff and didn't deliver the other half. They damaged my new house with the move. We've been calling for 2 months with no reposnse other than, we will call you back. Today, Frank decided to be a big bad boy by yelling at my mother on the phone about the stuff that weve been asking them to look into. Lawyers will now be involved. Do not waste your money or time on this horrible company.

Stolen ad broken itens.
Their attitude was downright disrespectful. The crew complained about how tiring the job was, even though I had everything packed and ready to go. They dropped my nightstand on the stairs and then told me I should have hired more people to help them. Absolutely absurd.

I like to be in charge
Recently I hired this moving company to move me cross country and they gave me an excellent crew. They were very obedient, caring, professional and experienced. I was in charge the entire time and the moving crew did exactly what I wanted. They moved everything so smoothly! Everything was delivered without any damages and without any scratches. It all went well! Their pricing was low and it did not change in the end. Whenever moving will come up, I will hire Midland van lines without any hesitation! They are worth it!

Worst Experience with a Mover in my life
When planning a move, some things might seem obvious. You want to get a price for getting your belongings packed, placed on a truck, and delivered safely to your new home. You might also consider guarantees regarding the possibility of a loss due to damage or misplaced items. The quality of all of the work being offered also matters. Well, Midland Van Lines fell far short in every category and many others. Beware! This company is NOT a moving company with trucks and workers that are hired and supervised by a corporate structure. The fact is that the moving company business consists of movers and those who contract with movers. Midland will work very hard to convince you, if you inquire, that they are a full-service moving company. Do NOT believe them. They are a contractor. We saw two different trucks and two different crews. The competence of each crew was also quite different. Read their contract carefully if you are foolish enough to hire them. Two items stand out. They cover loss by paying by the pound but charge for the move by the cubic foot. They pay 60 cents a pound for damaged items. They do not cover any furniture made with fiberboard, such as almost all furniture sold by IKEA. Midland Van Lines failed to give me a set price. They gave me an estimate, called one week before the move, and altered it based on exact descriptions of items. They then upcharge for that change. We refused to accept the higher estimate. On the day of the move, the contract states that you shouldn’t allow the movers to place any items on the truck until they give you a guaranteed final price. They refused. Now what could we do? We were stuck. So, delay our move? Not possible in almost any scenario, right? So, we let them load the truck. When finished, they said, we will either lower or raise the price based on the final cubic feet calculations. Did we get to measure? No, we had to trust them. The contract meant nothing. The increased cost was $1282.80. Now, about our move. They lost items and couldn’t find them. They delivered items that weren’t ours and didn’t attempt to recover them for their owners. They refused to cover the loss because of that fiberboard clause. They offered a $50 courtesy payment for my loss of over $450 of items that didn’t arrive. Two different moving crews and trucks were involved in my move. I paid three different entities, and only one was Midland Van Lines. The others were all contractors. You will find many reviews of this company, and they will all include some version of our story. Hire a company that gives you a set price, reasonable guarantees for loss, and has equipment and crew hired by them. This usually means someone local. Beware, some companies are NOT local and have similar or the same name as local companies. We believe our move was unsatisfactory due to the upcharge and undelivered items.
