Overall I’d say this was a really good experience, and definitely a competitive price. The biggest issue was some lack of communication on where our stuff was and when it was going to get there. They quoted us 4-16 days and it ended up being 18. I think going into this with proper expectations is key. Know that your stuff will take some time, and weigh whether or not that is worth the cost savings.
I got to know about Midland van lines from a colleague and I am so glad that I hired them! They made my life so much easier! I was so tense about moving, but the guys from this company made this experience very smooth and easy. The guys came on time and moved everything with care. They moved the furniture very nicely and did not damage anything while they were passing the narrow hallways. They were clearly very efficient and professional. They moved me without any damage at all! Thank you once again! I will recommend this company to everyone.
This moving company is very experienced and skilled. They have a solution for everything. The day they came to work, the lift was not working. They did not mind at all and they moved everything by the stairs. They packed everything so well that nothing got damaged. On delivery, they could not get the furniture in from the door. You know what they did? Somehow, they got it in from the window! It was so amazing! I have never seen such an amazing crew. I will use them again and I will recommend them. Midland van lines is like no other!
My granddaughter loves the piano and I wanted to give her my old piano for her birthday which was coming up soon. I contacted Midland van lines to move my piano. It was a bit old so it had to be well taken care of. I do not know what they did but when I went to see my granddaughter last week, I saw that it was in very good condition. I think they even cleaned it a little bit. There were no damages and there were no scratches! Unbelievable! Thank you so much! I will not forget this! Good job!
Both the movers and the service were top-notch. During the relocation of my home office, they handled my desk, chair, and multiple monitors with the utmost care. They lifted my filing cabinets into an upright position and covered my equipment with their sturdy covers. Moving became a breeze with their help!
Midland Van Lines will move your stuff from A to B. The quality of the move is debatable. The sales people will blatantly lie about additional charges even when asked directly. Your quote will skyrocket once the movers arrive. If you question it, you get told the sales person lied to you. Once your business has been gained, good luck getting a follow up until right before the move as the Customer Care is poor. The movers who took my bedframe apart broke every joint and screw (no exaggeration) so the bedframe could no longer be reassembled when delivered to my new home. I noted the damage on the delivery sheet per instruction of the driver. When I contacted Midland about compensation for the broken bed, apparently my noted issue along with my signature and the signature of the driver on the delivery confirmation receipt wasn't enough evidence for them to bother looking into the matter. I received a single sentence response stating they wouldn't move forward reviewing my claim. My suggestion is to scour the language in the contract and don't let the sales people mislead you that what you read means something else. Be prepared to not be compensated if something breaks in transit. I hope everyone reading this has a better move experience than I did or finds a different company.
This is, hands down, the worst moving company I’ve ever dealt with. Whatever you do, steer clear. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. They’ll quote you one price and then magically change it the moment they show up—classic bait and switch. I was told one thing on the phone, only to be slapped with a completely different total when the movers arrived. When I tried to hold them accountable, they were dismissive, rude, and borderline hostile. If you're looking for professionalism, look elsewhere. The entire operation is a joke. The people they send are inexperienced and clearly don’t care about your time, your property, or your sanity. I wasted two full days trying to sort things out, only for them to no-show and then reschedule on their terms—without a hint of apology or urgency. To make matters worse, when I asked for my deposit back (after they failed to deliver any service), they flat-out refused and said they were keeping it. So basically, they stole my money and wasted my time. They’re based in Colorado, and honestly, that alone should be a red flag. If you value your time, money, or belongings, avoid Midland Moving Company like the plague. Save yourself the stress. Find literally anyone else. This company is a scam wrapped in incompetence.
I now know why Midland van lines has so many good reviews! They are truly brilliant! They do move you absolutely stress free and easily! My recent long distance move with them went so well! There were no damages, no extra fees and no mistakes. All was delivered timely and they also offered to help at the new place and did not charge me for it. These guys are efficient, caring, helpful and very professional. I had the best move of my life. I will use them again and I will recommend them to all!
Recently I hired this moving company to move me cross country and they gave me an excellent crew. They were very obedient, caring, professional and experienced. I was in charge the entire time and the moving crew did exactly what I wanted. They moved everything so smoothly! Everything was delivered without any damages and without any scratches. It all went well! Their pricing was low and it did not change in the end. Whenever moving will come up, I will hire Midland van lines without any hesitation! They are worth it!
