Moving company in Lake Worth, FL
We'd been told that we needed to relocate our office to a new building and it was a massive undertaking with lots of machinery and information that we needed to be careful about. The movers brought lots of packing supplies, including boxes of all sizes, crates for the electronics, and bubble wrap. Well done!
This was an amazing moving experience, I just had to post! This team was early which was a good sign. They worked with a system that was very efficient. They covered my furniture with blankets and they even took apart some big furniture such as my dining table. They did the extra step to ensure my plants were placed in a secure location. Once they arrived at the new location, they put everything just where I wanted it.
One of my furniture pieces was damaged while being moved into the new home. I had expected the crew to take extra precautions with larger items. The damage was disappointing and could have been avoided with more careful handling. I was not happy with the service.
So, I knew that I had to make a hasty move, at the last moment. I did a whirl and called this moving company which managed to fit me in even though they were booked solid. They worked quickly but didn't rush or break anything. They carefully packed my delicate belongings. They got everything done ahead of schedule. I was really AMAZED by how they dealt with my move-in emergency.
They talked about good game. I thought I had to give $$ to hold rate & was told it would hold place on Truck! I had time to look around 3 days or so. So gave cc.& authorization. At the same time they charged my cc. Now they are holding my $$ don't want to assist giving any return. As lay ppl we don't know there ther business. So, of course Mr Stevens got paid for his company. WATCH these pratators!!$$ loses expensive 😪 Also, when I called to cancel I was told I had to send cancelation to the other office. They did everything to delay my time frame!! I am a senior & don't have $$ to spend like this !! So please watch.. this makes it bad for the next decent company.
The budget was tight, and I was worried about hidden fees. I told them straight away that I needed something reasonable for a long-distance move. They reviewed my details and came back with options that stayed within what I could handle. I also wanted packing included because I didn't have time to box things myself. They arranged that as part of the setup. I liked not having to negotiate with different companies. The process of relocation was handled through one place, which made the process feel simpler overall.
We were careful about choosing a moving company because I've had mixed experiences before. This time, it was handled properly. The crew came in and got straight into it without turning it into a big scene. I wasn't walking behind anyone or fixing small things afterward. My place came together faster than I expected. I could start putting things where I wanted without extra adjustments. It was a solid job, and I have no complaints about how it was done.
I only needed a few rooms moved to a storage, not the whole house. I told them that clearly because I didn't want to pay for more than I needed. They listened and searched for movers who fit that request. I also asked if unpacking could be included. They arranged it without turning it into a big deal. I didn't feel pushed toward anything extra. The setup matched exactly what I explained. It saved me time and cut down on the usual moving confusion.
Several of my boxes appeared to have been handled roughly during the move. I noticed some items needed extra attention when I unpacked them. I expected the movers to take more care with household belongings. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
The crew arrived behind schedule and did not provide a clear explanation for the delay. Once they arrived, the work progressed much more slowly than I had expected. The entire move ended up taking most of the day. It was a stressful experience overall.
