It was nice of them to take our bedroom pieces down and put them back up. We knew we had saved hours of work; everything was set up properly in the new home.
We moved our son to his first apartment this weekend and Menards Moving & Storage was great. Friendly staff from the beginning with Lavi being very responsive with pricing/quote to the movers who came to pack him up and bring him to his new home! The movers were professional and clean. All for a great price! Would highly recommend
We'd been told that we needed to relocate our office to a new building and it was a massive undertaking with lots of machinery and information that we needed to be careful about. The movers brought lots of packing supplies, including boxes of all sizes, crates for the electronics, and bubble wrap. Well done!
I've just moved recently and was very happy with the service. They came on time, handled all the packing and unpacking very carefully, and did not have any problems in the process. They have very carefully picked up all of my electronics and ensured that everything was safe in the truck. What a wonderful experience and all the arrangements were so smooth, I'm so happy!
I've transitioned through many places but this was by far the most incredible experience. The crew arrived early - a pleasant surprise. They got to work right away and impressed me with their speed and efficiency in packing all my belongings. One of the guys knew his way around to get things in the right place. The wrapping and packing of my electronics were so tight and nothing got damaged. They made it a very stressful day go off without a hitch.
From the rep who helped us set up the move — Bernard, who was incredibly helpful — to getting the COIs for both buildings, to the crew themselves, everything was seamless. Lucian and his team were not only considerate with our things and easy to work with, but genuinely kind people. They moved our entire apartment from Brooklyn to the Upper West Side in less than half a day.
So, I knew that I had to make a hasty move, at the last moment. I did a whirl and called this moving company which managed to fit me in even though they were booked solid. They worked quickly but didn't rush or break anything. They carefully packed my delicate belongings. They got everything done ahead of schedule. I was really AMAZED by how they dealt with my move-in emergency.
All the staff were courteous and they went above and beyond to make sure they were placing large items and boxes where we wanted them, so that we wouldn’t have to move them ourselves again. They also were able to junk some large furniture items for us when we realized they wouldn’t fit inside our apartment. They made our move so much easier and we’re very grateful for their hard work!
These are some of the movers to consider. The crew turned up on time, respected your privacy, and were dressed in clean uniforms and arrived in a clean truck. They were very careful with packing, added extra bubble wrap and padding for my fragile items, and treated all things with such care. I was amazed at their willingness to use the correct tools to take apart my big furniture units when instead they would push them through narrow doorways. They also tidied up after themselves, sweeping up the small pieces of packing material. Really appreciated the extra effort.
Several of my boxes appeared to have been handled roughly during the move. I noticed some items needed extra attention when I unpacked them. I expected the movers to take more care with household belongings. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
