Moving company in Lake Worth, FL
Several of my boxes appeared to have been handled roughly during the move. I noticed some items needed extra attention when I unpacked them. I expected the movers to take more care with household belongings. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations.
We had to move our shop by the 30th and had no time to do it ourselves. The moving company they provided came on the 28th, packed all things, and finished that day. I liked that I didn’t need to double-check everything. They called us with updates and followed through without missing anything. All our stuff reached the new place on time without anything being missed or broken.
Thanks to these guys moving day was a cakewalk. They even covered the floors and carpets which I was happy to see. They were very mindful of where they put my furniture, they would always ask where I would like it etc. The truck was immaculate and loaded with all the moving supplies required; dollies, straps etc. They truly did so much to make sure everything was right.
I needed help arranging my move to another state. I shared the dates and details, and they handled the rest. They found a mover that fits my timeline and sent updates before each step. It felt good not having to manage calls or paperwork myself.
I called Menards Moving at the last minute after another company canceled. They still managed to find movers available the same week. I expected delays, but instead, they called me the night before to confirm and then showed up right on time. The team they provided completed the move right on time without any problem.
I was planning to move my small office setup and didn’t know which company could manage it without overcharging. My friend connected me with Menards Moving, and they helped find a mover that specializes in smaller jobs. They sent all the details in writing and confirmed the pickup time. It was helpful to have one place handling communication with the mover directly.
I've transitioned through many places but this was by far the most incredible experience. The crew arrived early - a pleasant surprise. They got to work right away and impressed me with their speed and efficiency in packing all my belongings. One of the guys knew his way around to get things in the right place. The wrapping and packing of my electronics were so tight and nothing got damaged. They made it a very stressful day go off without a hitch.
Don’t use Menard’s Moving and Storage for anything. Zero stars is more appropriate. Unprofessional, cost inflators, and masters of the run-around. Quoted costs are low over the phone, they estimate as a function of the square foot or your place (without coming in person to do a proper estimate), then when the van arrives for moving day, the costs go up because they need more space in the truck (not to mention they insist on payment via Venmo, cash, cashiers check, or Zelle - why not a check made out to a company?). Our new estimate was about 50% higher. They took our property, placed it into storage close by, the whole time insisting that it was en-route and they’re having a hard time contacting the driver. After 21 business days (read their contract closely, that’s about 1 month) Menards tried to have us pay an enormous amount for storage (that we didn’t ask for). They never replied to emails sent to [email protected], never provided proper names or physical addresses of the carrier used, were difficult to contact, wouldn’t accept voicemails (always full), and would communicate only to placate (no new information, they generally didn’t know what was going on, etc. - the run-around). At that point, we hired a lawyer to stop the nonsense. Under no circumstances hire this company for your moving (or any other) needs.
These are some of the movers to consider. The crew turned up on time, respected your privacy, and were dressed in clean uniforms and arrived in a clean truck. They were very careful with packing, added extra bubble wrap and padding for my fragile items, and treated all things with such care. I was amazed at their willingness to use the correct tools to take apart my big furniture units when instead they would push them through narrow doorways. They also tidied up after themselves, sweeping up the small pieces of packing material. Really appreciated the extra effort.
So, I knew that I had to make a hasty move, at the last moment. I did a whirl and called this moving company which managed to fit me in even though they were booked solid. They worked quickly but didn't rush or break anything. They carefully packed my delicate belongings. They got everything done ahead of schedule. I was really AMAZED by how they dealt with my move-in emergency.
