Moving company in Lake Worth, FL
We'd been told that we needed to relocate our office to a new building and it was a massive undertaking with lots of machinery and information that we needed to be careful about. The movers brought lots of packing supplies, including boxes of all sizes, crates for the electronics, and bubble wrap. Well done!
A neighbor mentioned this service when I was struggling to find movers for my apartment. I gave them the details of my move, and they did the research to find a match for my budget. They took care of the search and sent me the information in a way that was easy to read. I did not feel pressured to choose a specific option. They just focused on lining up the right help based on the size of my move.
Packing stresses me out more than anything, so that was my main concern. I explained that I wanted full packing and unpacking support along with a long-distance move. They took those details and searched for movers who could handle both. When my move date shifted slightly, they adjusted the arrangements without making it a problem.
AVOID AT ALL COST! Do NOT use this moving company. They are a predatory practice. They will ask for all of your items for the move but will completely ignore your list to give you a smaller quote so you will move with them. After you are locked in, they will double or triple your rate as they only care about the cubic feet once its in their truck. I was not misquoted once but twice! I gave them detailed lists of everything I had going and they gave an initial estimate of 500 cubic feet so that the rate looked great so I would sign up with them. Come a week before the move, I gave the updated list again and my estimate is updated to 900 cubic feet, practically doubling my moving cost. Come the day of the move, the driver sees everything and tells me that it is well beyond 900 and that the list they have is off. Looking at the list, it is the old list from my initial quote (which is very outdated at this point) so updating the list a few days before meant nothing beyond demanding more money. After the truck is loaded, my final count is under 1200 cubic feet. So for a third time, my price is increased. After they have left with my stuff I get an email from an unknown company saying they are needing 70% of the remaining balance (despite being told multiple times by multiple people, that its 50% on pick up and 50% on delivery). I have to reach out to Menards to be told they arent handling my move but this other company that I have never heard of or been told about. When I called and asked about it all I was told over and over again was "sorry this wasn't communicated to you." That seems to be their motto, dont communicate and charge more. TL;DR They will offer misleading values so that you pick them over anyone else and raise your price once it's time move, when its too late to switch to anyone else!
The crew arrived behind schedule and did not provide a clear explanation for the delay. Once they arrived, the work progressed much more slowly than I had expected. The entire move ended up taking most of the day. It was a stressful experience overall.
So, I knew that I had to make a hasty move, at the last moment. I did a whirl and called this moving company which managed to fit me in even though they were booked solid. They worked quickly but didn't rush or break anything. They carefully packed my delicate belongings. They got everything done ahead of schedule. I was really AMAZED by how they dealt with my move-in emergency.
I almost handled my move on my own, but I'm glad I didn't. I filled out my details about relocating to another state and mentioned I needed full packing help since I work long hours. They reviewed everything and came back with a setup that covered the distance and the packing part without me chasing different companies. I also had a short gap before my new place opened up, so they arranged storage within the same plan.
Thanks to these guys moving day was a cakewalk. They even covered the floors and carpets which I was happy to see. They were very mindful of where they put my furniture, they would always ask where I would like it etc. The truck was immaculate and loaded with all the moving supplies required; dollies, straps etc. They truly did so much to make sure everything was right.
I've just moved recently and was very happy with the service. They came on time, handled all the packing and unpacking very carefully, and did not have any problems in the process. They have very carefully picked up all of my electronics and ensured that everything was safe in the truck. What a wonderful experience and all the arrangements were so smooth, I'm so happy!
I didn't need a large setup, just something that fit a smaller load. I shared that detail when I reached out. They searched with that in mind and didn't try to upgrade me to something bigger. I also had a gap between move-out and move-in dates, so storage had to be part of the plan. They worked it in smoothly. I liked not juggling different calls. They kept it simple and handled the coordination while I packed personal items myself.
