Moving company in Charlotte, NC
My move was delayed because the crew arrived without the proper equipment. What should have been a simple move turned into an all-day process. Very disappointing experience.
I expected a more professional experience based on the reviews. The team seemed disorganized and spent a lot of time figuring things out instead of moving efficiently.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
The movers ultimately arrived after six hours. The foreman wanted to talk about money and fees before even beginning to move the boxes, and they were impolite and lacked masks. I had previously provided them with the full estimate when they requested the down payment. I requested him to begin packing my things just now so we could move on to the new location. The employees seemed resentful of having to work so late, and they WERE NOT COURTEOUS with my belongings.
We arranged for a long distance move with this company from New York to indiana. Our stuff was picked up on February 23rd. For the business delivery was extremely unlikely to take longer than 7 days. We were told by nicholas, the agent who dealt with us, that he almost never had a situation where it took more than 10 days. The contract states that for anything beyond 10 days we would be paid a fee for every further day of delay. It has now been 12 business days and there has been no word from the company. We made multiple attempts to contact the company to find out at least where our stuff is so that we have a rough time frame. The company is unaware of where the truck is or where our stuff is. We spoke to Aisha at the customer support center who was incredibly rude and told us that this is not her problem and that anything after 30 days is considered a legal delivery time frame by the department of transportation. We now have an empty house and still don't have our stuff, and have no idea when it will actually arrive.

The people who work at Mayzlin Relocation LLC are great. They were great, friendly, smart, and skilled. There was no harm. Now that I've used The Mayzlin Relocation LLC four times, I'm not going to use any other moving company ever again. Once more, thank you for being thoughtful and kind.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
