Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There were unexpected delays, and getting updates from customer support was difficult. I expected a much smoother experience.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
I expected a more professional experience based on the reviews. The team seemed disorganized and spent a lot of time figuring things out instead of moving efficiently.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
The movers ultimately arrived after six hours. The foreman wanted to talk about money and fees before even beginning to move the boxes, and they were impolite and lacked masks. I had previously provided them with the full estimate when they requested the down payment. I requested him to begin packing my things just now so we could move on to the new location. The employees seemed resentful of having to work so late, and they WERE NOT COURTEOUS with my belongings.
I was disappointed with the overall service because the process was poorly organized and took longer than expected. Communication was inconsistent, making the experience unnecessarily stressful.
I was moving out of my loft apartment, and its narrow spiral staircase was my biggest concern. But the movers from this company were well-trained and handled it easily. They disassembled my larger furniture, wrapped each piece carefully, and maneuvered everything down without a single scratch or mark. It was incredible how efficiently they worked, and they even reassembled everything at my new place. It was the smoothest moving experience I’ve ever had!
I would not recommend this moving company to anyone! I do not want to short sell the perks so here they are: - Before you pay and before your items are moved, everyone is very sweet and helpful - The moving crew is efficient, they aren't friendly, but they do a great job packing/moving - The price is right and they do a great job getting you the best price out there. (keep reading) Long distance moves can be tricky and stressful. I called so many company's and finally gave up because I didn't have time to continue searching. This company takes advantage of your situation and manipulates you into thinking their service is the only option for you. Please wary, once you make payment and this company has your items, its a fight to try and get any details. My items are being held hostage and there is nothing I can do. I called to provide a delivery address 2 days ago and was told that my items could take 21 days to even begin to move. I was told not to call back because there would be no update to provide. I have attempted to reach a manager but the representatives in the call center are very blunt in that they will never help you and you just have to wait it out and hope your items are delivered some day. The most disappointing thing about this service is I am paying 6,000 for zero customer support. I will have a house but nothing to lay my daughter in when we move. Things to take note of: - The contract you sign is several pages long with tiny font. When you are in a pinch and trying to get things moving, they use this is a way to lock you in. - The sales reps don't speak to the actual moving company who manages your items once payment is made. Once you sign the contract, that is the end of a friendly faces. - You will be treated respectfully until your items are moved into the moving truck, after this point, no one will help you. - If you sign the lengthy contract in a rush before reading the fine print, you are SOL! Be extremely careful before considering this company!
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
