Moving company in Charlotte, NC
James checked in right as they started, making sure fragile items had proper padding. His leadership showed in how smoothly the crew worked. Everything from dishes to furniture arrived perfectly safe, which was all I wanted.
Unfortunately, the service did not meet my expectations. There were unexpected delays, and getting updates from customer support was difficult. I expected a much smoother experience.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
The movers arrived much later than the scheduled time, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Communication was poor throughout the process. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
It rained all morning, but they came prepared with covers for the sofa, mattresses, and chairs. Not one thing got wet. That detail alone makes me want to recommend them to anyone moving in bad weather.
I moved 14 boxes, a sofa, and my queen bed. The movers finished in just 2 hours, and nothing was scratched. If you want a quick move that still feels careful, call these guys.
The movers ultimately arrived after six hours. The foreman wanted to talk about money and fees before even beginning to move the boxes, and they were impolite and lacked masks. I had previously provided them with the full estimate when they requested the down payment. I requested him to begin packing my things just now so we could move on to the new location. The employees seemed resentful of having to work so late, and they WERE NOT COURTEOUS with my belongings.
I relocated my music room—five guitars, two amplifiers, and shelves of vinyl records. The movers wrapped each guitar, stacked the records flat, and asked before placing the equipment. That kind of care made me feel relieved.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
The boxes were packed and arranged without much organization. Some labels were difficult to read, while others were missing completely. After delivery, we spent extra time figuring out which boxes belonged in each room. The packing process needed better attention to detail.
At My Good Movers, we believe peace of mind starts with verified credentials. Mayzlin Relocation LLC holds all required registrations to legally operate both local and interstate moves.
