I expected a more professional experience based on the reviews. The team seemed disorganized and spent a lot of time figuring things out instead of moving efficiently.
Michael and his team of 3 were awesome! They showed up on time on moving day, got their packing supplies out and began working. They wrapped all my valuables in several layers to ensure they were properly protected. Additionally, they remained in constant touch with me during transit and delivered everything safely. I couldn’t have asked for more!
Mayzlin Relocation LLC move experts managed our international relocation with ease. They handled all the logistics, including customs paperwork, and kept us informed throughout the process - which was the bigger bonus. Our belongings were packed meticulously and arrived in pristine condition. We wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone!
Sadly I was ghosted after they took my property. Ryan the original sales person stopped responding as well as David. I never spoke to either again. No returned text, email or phone call. They said they were to deliver my items within 5 days. They took them on 9/17/24 and I didn't see them again until 10/3/24. After multiple attempts to contact them and dealing with 24 hour anxiety, I finally went to the BBB and found multiple pages of complaints from people who had much worse experiences than me. My anxiety was slightly diminished only because people eventually did receive their items. Some more than 30 days later so I suppose I should be grateful for only having to wait two weeks. I will say they called me two days prior to them delivering my belongings. However, the boxes were smashed and some were even opened from the damage of them bouncing around in the truck. No care whatsoever in the packing or transporting. My takeaway is, if you don't care about inflated costs, timing of delivery, communication or receiving your items the way they were taken, you can use this company. But I wouldn't dare recommend them. I would strongly encourage everyone to visit the Better Business Bureau website and thoroughly review the complaints before signing any contract with Mayzlin Relocation as they are the poster child for the old Bait and Switch. Great on the front end, but horrible on the back end. Good luck!
The movers ultimately arrived after six hours. The foreman wanted to talk about money and fees before even beginning to move the boxes, and they were impolite and lacked masks. I had previously provided them with the full estimate when they requested the down payment. I requested him to begin packing my things just now so we could move on to the new location. The employees seemed resentful of having to work so late, and they WERE NOT COURTEOUS with my belongings.
A few pieces of furniture were not handled with the level of care I expected. Some items were moved without proper wrapping, and the crew appeared to rush through the tighter areas of the house. This made me concerned about possible damage. More careful handling would have been better.
The movers arrived much later than the scheduled time, which caused a lot of inconvenience. Communication was poor throughout the process. Overall, the experience was disappointing.
I was disappointed with the overall service because the process was poorly organized and took longer than expected. Communication was inconsistent, making the experience unnecessarily stressful.
This company does not provide relocation services. These brokers are deliberately dishonest and misleading. They have unreliable carriers conduct the actual moving so they can escape being held accountable for anything that goes wrong with your interstate move. They told us that they would be on their way to our destination as soon as our items were picked up. This is, of course, not true. Please don't call them.
The moving crew arrived behind schedule, and there was no clear explanation for the delay. We had planned the day around the original arrival time, so this caused several problems. Loading also moved at a slow pace once they arrived. The overall start was quite frustrating.
