Read More Natalie Battle at the Doraville Location has awesome customer service. She has gone above and beyond to help with any questions I have and finding me the perfect size unit. She smiled her entire way through it and is an Asset to Life Storage !

I rented a storage back in 11/4/223 at ************************************. Within 48 hours, there was a burglary incident happened. My stolen items were worth over $10k ... Read More I rented a storage back in 11/4/223 at ************************************. Within 48 hours, there was a burglary incident happened. My stolen items were worth over $10k. I purchased worth $2k insurance coverage recommended by them. I filed a lost claim against this ************** took more than 2 months to receive settlement payment. I filed a small court claim against them and I won the case by a small fraction amount only. Thus, I still lost a large amount valuable items. I received the court judgement document, I still didn't receive payment from this storage company - it has been 7th week. Meanwhile, I continued to rent space at the same facility. They offered me bigger size 10' x 15' vs my original size 10' x 10' with the same rate to compensate me for the burglary incident. However, they increased my rent every 3 months, double the rate each time. So, I finally moved out my storage space My main complaint here, I have attempted to contact Extra Space Storage corporate office to follow-up payment on the court judgement and the **************** Rep named ***** that I spoke was rude and not helpful at all. I asked for the appropriate contact name & email address, so I may send scanned copy of the court judgement document and my letter via email but she refused to give me such information. She also refused to give me her complete name, employee badge# or employee ID#. So now, I am stuck and don't know when or how I will receive my court settlement payment. They conduct business operation so poorly. I do not recommend this business at all.

I knew there would be some kind of increase over an extended period of time but my rent increased instantly by $80 this coming February. Now I and back to paying this high rent within 3 months.
