Today, was a great day. Illinois Movers helped us to move. The customer service at the begging was wonderful and today, the team was on time (sharp), very helpful, and very courteous. If in the future we need their service, definitely we will use them again. Thank you Illinois Movers!!!!

I would never recommend Illinois Movers, Inc. to anyone. On May 31, I spoke with the company about my move. They assured me they could handle it and told me my belongings would arrive at my new home in about two days. Based on that promise, I paid the required deposit. When they picked up my belongings, I had to make another payment as agreed, packed up, and drove to my new home expecting everything to arrive shortly afterward. A week went by, and I hadn’t heard a single word. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly. Their voicemail was always full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. At that point, I honestly thought I had been scammed. After two weeks, I finally received an email saying they would deliver my belongings whenever they had enough shipments going near my destination. That was never mentioned when I hired them. I explained that I needed my belongings as soon as possible. Their response was that they would contact me when they were ready and specifically told me not to contact them again. Another two weeks passed before they emailed saying they might deliver on Monday or Tuesday and would call 24 hours beforehand. Instead, they called Tuesday afternoon and said they would be there in three hours. Since I couldn’t be there on such short notice, I had to ask a neighbor to meet them and let them put everything in my garage. To make matters worse, several of my belongings arrived heavily damaged. On top of that, the delivery driver was demanding a tip, even though my items were weeks late and damaged. Asking for a tip after providing such poor service was unbelievable. This entire experience was stressful from start to finish. They made promises they didn’t keep, were nearly impossible to communicate with, provided almost no updates, delivered weeks later than promised, damaged my belongings, and then expected a tip. Save yourself the frustration and use a different moving company. I truly wish I could give them less than one star.
These guys are amazing! Punctual, organized, fast, very polite. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. First time we went through a moving without stress. The best one! We really recommend them.

They listened to which items needed to be moved and were flexible when we asked them to rearrange furniture. I cannot recommend them enough!!!
I can’t say enough good things about this company! We used a different company on our last move and had a terrible experience. I was hesitant to hire another company this time around but after lots of research we decided to hire Illinois Movers Inc and they did not disappoint! They laid down mats on our floors, covered our front door, they wrapped everything before they moved things out. Highly recommend them and would definitely call them again for future moves.

Jim in sales was fantastic. We were moving a massive four-bedroom house and I felt overwhelmed, but Jim simplified the estimate process and made sure every crazy request (like the oddly shaped antique wardrobe) was accounted for. No surprise fees later! This company is transparent and honest.
