These guys are amazing! Punctual, organized, fast, very polite. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. First time we went through a moving without stress. The best one! We really recommend them.
Zero stars is more appropriate. I was sold on a price and was charged another $425 for excessive distance ($75) and delivery in center city Philadelphia ($350). The center city Philadelphia charge was at best dishonest and at worst extorsion. The company knew the delivery address upfront and never disclosed the additional $350 (in cash) until delivery. I was also sold on a 3 to 5 delivery timeframe and it was actually 2+ weeks. Communication was terrible - I requested the owner call me to discuss these issues, I'm still waiting. DO NOT USE.
While unpacking, I was able to locate my belongings with ease because of the packaging's logical organization. Their cost was well worth it, and their assistance with the move made me swoon for them. Highly suggested.
I would never recommend Illinois Movers, Inc. to anyone. On May 31, I spoke with the company about my move. They assured me they could handle it and told me my belongings would arrive at my new home in about two days. Based on that promise, I paid the required deposit. When they picked up my belongings, I had to make another payment as agreed, packed up, and drove to my new home expecting everything to arrive shortly afterward. A week went by, and I hadn’t heard a single word. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly. Their voicemail was always full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. At that point, I honestly thought I had been scammed. After two weeks, I finally received an email saying they would deliver my belongings whenever they had enough shipments going near my destination. That was never mentioned when I hired them. I explained that I needed my belongings as soon as possible. Their response was that they would contact me when they were ready and specifically told me not to contact them again. Another two weeks passed before they emailed saying they might deliver on Monday or Tuesday and would call 24 hours beforehand. Instead, they called Tuesday afternoon and said they would be there in three hours. Since I couldn’t be there on such short notice, I had to ask a neighbor to meet them and let them put everything in my garage. To make matters worse, several of my belongings arrived heavily damaged. On top of that, the delivery driver was demanding a tip, even though my items were weeks late and damaged. Asking for a tip after providing such poor service was unbelievable. This entire experience was stressful from start to finish. They made promises they didn’t keep, were nearly impossible to communicate with, provided almost no updates, delivered weeks later than promised, damaged my belongings, and then expected a tip. Save yourself the frustration and use a different moving company. I truly wish I could give them less than one star.
Used for an emergency move after a fire in my apartment. Communication was excellent and the move came in under their estimate (I did not go with the lowest bidder)--they recommended 4 people to help with packing. They were careful and responsive. Will be using again when I can move back in!
The team handled my art collection cautiously. They provided custom crates for my paintings and sculptures, and double wrapped them in thick fabric cloth and bubble wrap for extra protection. I received all of them intact. Many thanks!

Great guys to work with. They weren't given an easy task of moving heavy things up and down stairs in my town home but they were very polite and great to work with. I would definitely consider them again.
