Moving company in Wood Dale, IL
The movers were fantastic from start to finish. They had a clear plan and executed it perfectly. Their attention to detail and their respect for my home stood out. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
These guys are amazing! Punctual, organized, fast, very polite. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. First time we went through a moving without stress. The best one! We really recommend them.
They were very nice and quick! Easy to communicate with as well. Will definitely be using them for my next move.
The guys were friendly and very efficient, they wrapped up about 30 min under the estimate from the original quote. All the furniture was placed right where I need it, and they made sure to double check it was right before they left. Plus, they staged all my boxes neatly so I can access them all comparatively easily for unpacking. I'm so glad to be in my new place way faster than I ever could have managed with my friends and a uhaul, and now I'm free to focus on settling in and making it home! I can definitely recommend Illinois Movers for anyone in the area!
Excellent movers. They were punctual, pleasant, and did a great job. Everything was amazing, and the movers were helpful from the first quote until the final transfer. They helped my mother connect the appliances in the new home and unpack many boxes to set it up. I will recommend this company to all my family and friends.
Juan truly did an outstanding job ensuring that our piano arrived in Dallas, TX without any issues. His dedication and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. From the careful planning to the precise execution, he managed every detail with remarkable skill. We were particularly impressed by how he handled the logistics, making sure that the piano was securely packed and transported. His attention to detail gave us peace of mind, knowing that our beloved instrument was in good hands. We genuinely appreciate his hard work and commitment, which made this experience not only seamless but also enjoyable. Thank you, Juan, for going above and beyond!
Their cross-country relocation service was outstanding. The crew arrived on schedule, and their impressive logistics skills were evident from the get-go. They made excellent use of packing materials and were masters at disassembling and reassembling furniture.
Jean and his assistants were phenomenal. I would recommend this company, I also plan to use them again when I relocate. Real talk. Everything was re-assembled as it was originally and NOTHING was broken. I’m going to try to request Jean again, if possible.
From the beginning to the end the service was excellent. The movers communicated clearly and made sure everything went according to plan. It made my moving day much less stressful.
I would never recommend Illinois Movers, Inc. to anyone. On May 31, I spoke with the company about my move. They assured me they could handle it and told me my belongings would arrive at my new home in about two days. Based on that promise, I paid the required deposit. When they picked up my belongings, I had to make another payment as agreed, packed up, and drove to my new home expecting everything to arrive shortly afterward. A week went by, and I hadn’t heard a single word. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly. Their voicemail was always full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. At that point, I honestly thought I had been scammed. After two weeks, I finally received an email saying they would deliver my belongings whenever they had enough shipments going near my destination. That was never mentioned when I hired them. I explained that I needed my belongings as soon as possible. Their response was that they would contact me when they were ready and specifically told me not to contact them again. Another two weeks passed before they emailed saying they might deliver on Monday or Tuesday and would call 24 hours beforehand. Instead, they called Tuesday afternoon and said they would be there in three hours. Since I couldn’t be there on such short notice, I had to ask a neighbor to meet them and let them put everything in my garage. To make matters worse, several of my belongings arrived heavily damaged. On top of that, the delivery driver was demanding a tip, even though my items were weeks late and damaged. Asking for a tip after providing such poor service was unbelievable. This entire experience was stressful from start to finish. They made promises they didn’t keep, were nearly impossible to communicate with, provided almost no updates, delivered weeks later than promised, damaged my belongings, and then expected a tip. Save yourself the frustration and use a different moving company. I truly wish I could give them less than one star.
