I would never recommend Illinois Movers, Inc. to anyone. On May 31, I spoke with the company about my move. They assured me they could handle it and told me my belongings would arrive at my new home in about two days. Based on that promise, I paid the required deposit. When they picked up my belongings, I had to make another payment as agreed, packed up, and drove to my new home expecting everything to arrive shortly afterward. A week went by, and I hadn’t heard a single word. I called, texted, and emailed repeatedly. Their voicemail was always full, so I couldn’t even leave a message. At that point, I honestly thought I had been scammed. After two weeks, I finally received an email saying they would deliver my belongings whenever they had enough shipments going near my destination. That was never mentioned when I hired them. I explained that I needed my belongings as soon as possible. Their response was that they would contact me when they were ready and specifically told me not to contact them again. Another two weeks passed before they emailed saying they might deliver on Monday or Tuesday and would call 24 hours beforehand. Instead, they called Tuesday afternoon and said they would be there in three hours. Since I couldn’t be there on such short notice, I had to ask a neighbor to meet them and let them put everything in my garage. To make matters worse, several of my belongings arrived heavily damaged. On top of that, the delivery driver was demanding a tip, even though my items were weeks late and damaged. Asking for a tip after providing such poor service was unbelievable. This entire experience was stressful from start to finish. They made promises they didn’t keep, were nearly impossible to communicate with, provided almost no updates, delivered weeks later than promised, damaged my belongings, and then expected a tip. Save yourself the frustration and use a different moving company. I truly wish I could give them less than one star.
They were right on time. I had boxed everything up but had some heirlooms in boxes that I told them about. They got right to work and it did take them six hours to move me, but their quote was spot on. They were friendly, very professional, and I had absolutely no damage to any of my things. They took great care of all my belongings. The office staff was super friendly every time I called and very accommodating. This is the second time I have used Illinois Movers and I highly recommend them!

Great service. The movers were very professional and worked very fast. They moved my 4 bedroom house in about 3 hours. Nothing was broken, they moved my 80" tv and all the furniture by wrapping it and carefully placing it in their truck. The owner called the day before to let me know the guys would be there at 9 and at 8:55 they were already waiting outside. Great company!
I used this company 2 months ago for my move and they were amazing! They were on time, wrapped all furniture for protection and unloaded everything very quickly. They were also very friendly and professional. Highly recommend them and will be using them for my next move. They also have fair prices.
From the beginning to the end the service was excellent. The movers communicated clearly and made sure everything went according to plan. It made my moving day much less stressful.
A couple guys from Illinois Movers moved a piece of furniture for me from one house to another and they need a wonderful job. They wrapped each piece and took good care of it while moving it. They were having some mechanical issues with their truck that day and they still came through for me. Thank you! Definitely will use again and will recommend.
These guys are amazing! Punctual, organized, fast, very polite. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. First time we went through a moving without stress. The best one! We really recommend them.
