The movers coordinated a parking permit with the city and arrived with orange traffic cones to reserve the space. They worked efficiently to load the truck, never blocking traffic longer than needed. Neighbors were still able to pass, and nobody honked at us once. At the new place, they repeated the same parking strategy, which really minimized stress. The movers studied how it was assembled before deciding on the best approach to disassemble it. They placed each wooden beam in padded blankets, then used zip ties to keep smaller rods together. I got the sense they were genuinely curious about the loom’s history, too. Setting it up in my new craft room felt like reuniting with an old friend, and it wouldn’t have been possible without their careful efforts.

The movers measured the door frames, twisted and angled the couch just so, and somehow got it through without any rips or dents. It was like watching a puzzle master at work! When it was almost wedged in the doorway, they patiently jiggled it around until it slid free. No damage done, and now my beloved couch has a new home in the city.

The movers recommended using foam layers and partitioned boxes so nothing would bang against each other. They took the time to label each souvenir’s origin, making it easier for me to unpack. Throughout the journey, I received updates, and once we arrived, they set aside the fragile boxes in a corner so I could carefully handle them. Not a single piece was chipped or broken!

Read More We were on the third floor with a very steep staircase to the street, but you wouldn’t have guessed the movers had difficulty with that. They transported trip after trip without batting an eye, navigating pieces such as my queen bed frame and outdoor grill. I’m impressed so much with their persistence and strength!
