Moving company in Garfield, NJ
I had to move out of a house that had a steep driveway and a narrow entryway. The previous movers scratched my doorframe trying to get a dresser through it, so I was worried. This time, they came prepared with moving blankets and sliders and got everything out cleanly. That level of care is exactly what I had hoped for the first time.
I expected a smoother process, but there were several issues along the way. Customer support was difficult to reach, and concerns were not addressed promptly. The experience was disappointing.
10/10 would use again. We were moving my daughter into a 3rd-floor apartment with no elevator. The guys from M Company carried every box and piece of furniture up all those stairs. They never slowed down or complained. They even helped her unpack the heaviest boxes. The whole job took about 5 hours, which was less than they quoted.
Several boxes were handled carelessly, and a few belongings arrived damaged. The crew seemed rushed and paid little attention to fragile items. Very frustrating experience.
I was impressed by how smoothly everything went during my move. The crew arrived right on time and knew exactly what to do from the start. They handled parking, paperwork, and unloading without needing any help from me. Everything was done quietly and efficiently. It’s rare to see that kind of preparation and teamwork these days.
Communication was difficult from the beginning. Calls and messages were not returned promptly, and I had trouble getting updates about my move. Overall, not very reliable.
I hired Howards Van Line for a move from a one-bedroom condo into a townhouse. The layout at the new place had narrow hallways, which made me nervous about a large china cabinet I inherited. The movers worked slowly around each turn and managed it without a single scratch. They even asked if I wanted it angled a certain way, which I really appreciated.
I moved into a high-rise apartment downtown, and the building had strict elevator time slots. I was worried about delays, but the crew arrived early and got everything ready fast. They worked efficiently to stay within the time window. Even with all the stairs and parking restrictions, they didn't complain once. Everything made it in, including my awkward bed frame. It went way smoother than I expected.
Highly recommend this moving crew. I had a bunch of musical instruments, including a keyboard and speakers. They wrapped everything tightly and secured it in the truck. No bumps or marks when it arrived. You can tell they know what they're doing.
The process felt unorganized and lacked proper coordination. Customer support was slow to respond, and the delays created unnecessary stress. I would not use this service again.
