Read More They were in regular contact leading up to the move to ensure everything ran smoothly. Best part the contact was actual phone calls instead of a generic email. The moving day crew was fast and efficient. They protected my floors, doors, and walls at both locations. They are polite and respectful with me and my belonging. I would recommend to anyone and will use them again for future moves.

Read More I called Bronze Star Moving company a broker who gave me an estimate of around 3000, prime line showed up and charged me $6500, they ruined an $800 printer by putting it sideways when it was marked all over it extremely not to put on its side. The movers that showed up could not speak English at all, they put stuff where I didn’t want it and was trying to direct them. I advised people please don’t use this company, I can’t stress it enough how awful they are, also they told me about seven days for my stuff to arrive. It was exactly 30 days to the day that they arrived. Awful, awful, awful.

Read More We scheduled them to move our family across the country. My wife spend several hours on the phone with them reviewing our contents. We actually added additional boxes just to be conservative. On the day of the move, they showed up and the price almost doubled from $10K to $19K. They refused to walk though the inventory with me to prove we had accurately told them the correct quantities. The only reason the foreman would give is that our things could not be stacked. We ended up firing them that day. We rented a Uhaul truck and I stacked all our belongings in one truck. After repeated calls to this company, they refused to return any of the $5K we had to pay upfront. No one was every willing to discuss in detail the inventory or how the price doubled. This company is horrible and please stay away. Please learn from my very expensive mistake.

Read More Horrible experience with them with my recent move. I will never recommend them to anyone. They initially quoted me according to the inventory, but when they came to pick up the stuff for moving they said the number of items are way higher than their initial estimate. This was even when the number of boxes were lower than what was in the inventory the first time. Although, I would give kudos to the people who picked up and dropped off the stuff (people from different companies) as they went above and beyond in giving a good service. But, dealing with this company is very stressful.

Read More On 8-Jun-2024 I spoke with Phil (a.k.a. Carter) at Prime Line Van Lines for a moving quote for a 1 bedroom apartment. The call took approximately 60 minutes as we went over every item in the apartment to be moved. Phil quoted me 286 c.f. at $6 per c.f. for a total estimate of $1876.94. Contract says the final payment may be adjusted if additional items were added which is understandable. Move scheduled for 30-Jun-2024 between 8AM & 12PM. I was 2 hours away from apartment and was on road at 6:30AM when foreman called me saying he would arrive at 6:45AM. I explained I was on the road and my son was asleep in the apartment. He threatened to begin charging me wait fees. I woke my son at 7:05AM and they finished the entire move by 7:40AM. When I arrived at 8AM the foreman began saying that they moved way more than what was quoted which was untrue. The truck was less than 1/4 full and the inventory matched the items given to Phil in the original quote with the exception of 1 couch. I paid $834.04 to reserve the move. I expected to owe an additional $1042.90. The foreman said I owed an additional $2400 in cash for a total of $4200. He said if I do not pay him he would unload all items and leave them on the street. I said there is no way I can get that amount of cash in a town where I do not have a bank. I had the expected $1000 cash. My son was finished his lease on 30-Jun-2024 and the new tenant was arriving that afternoon. I had no other options. The Foreman then offered me his "discount" and asked me for another $1800 in cash. I balked at this since it was impossible for me to get that amount of cash. The foreman told me he could take the $1000 cash if I signed his paperwork so he could then take the items to storage. He said I was only signing that the items were moved successfully. Foreman said I could resolve the mismatch to the quote with management the next day. I agreed to this under extreme duress, the whole experience felt like a robbery. I unknowingly signed paperwork stating I agreed to pay the inflated price of $3956.94. I could not successfully contact anyone in support via multiple calls on 1-Jul, 2-Jul & 3-Jul. I spoke to Dima in customer support on 8-Jul-2024. She said I owed the full balance and delivery was scheduled for 9-Jul, and if I did not wire them the money immediately, they would begin charging me delayed delivery fees of $250/hour and storage fees of $743 per month. The total value they are charging is higher than the value of the items moved. I explained I did not have the extra $2,080 that quickly. I asked to speak to her manager and she said they won't help me and they won't be as nice as her. I asked what would happen if I refused to pay since the items were worth less than the balance. She said I would owe $743 per month storage for two months ($1486) before the items were sent to auction. This felt like extortion. Either pay over $2K for your items or $1486 to not receive your items.

They underestimate your quote then when the movers arrive they are a different company that was contracted out who can barely speak good English then they triple the estimate made and tell you they will leave your stuff if you don’t pay more and of course by the time this happens no one from Primeline Van Lines is available by phone. My shipment went from just over $5k to over $14k. I only had one skinny guy show up to load my belongings and it took from 10:30am to 7:30pm; he scratched up the floors of the house I was moving out of so there goes my security deposit from the house I was renting. I had to help carry and load the larger items and I had to leave items behind because he wouldn’t stack boxes so only so much fit in the truck…Total BS!! Now I’m still waiting on delivery and recently got a call from a different company and could not make out half of what this guy was saying other than needing to pay cash or certified postal check when I was told by Primeline I could do all this via credit card cause who carries cash like that around and there are limits and fees for ATMs. As a military veteran I urge you all to seek out a different company cause this literally has been the worst experience I have ever had.

The scope of the job did change, but had several quotes at $10K. Basically just trying to price gouge a customer because they thought they had me by the balls. Hopefully my bank can get the funds back.

I called the lady I spoke with was very professional and gave us an estimate for what furniture my daughter has. When the movers arrive they wanted an additional $1,700.00 to move all her furniture because they underestimated it. Please do better research than i did and stay away from this company.

Read More WILL NOT COMMUNICATE - UNCLEAR ON pricing at the. **I am hoping to update this when they finally contact us and when we make the move if nothing to stolen or damaged** (only 2 stars not 1 because I am hoping they will resolve this!) My husband and I are moving from Utah to Florida. We contacted this company and they seemed reliable and we wrote up our contract. Some things to note. -we saw some negative reviews pop up about them arriving and up charging by thousands. Their box size is 1 x 1 x 1 feet. Not a typical moving box. So our original moving quote was 30 boxes which we have but it’s 30 small boxes. This would be 30 cubic feet. Our normal tubes you can buy at any store gets us to 120 cubic feet. -we have tried to call multiple times to update our quote so they cannot charge us an insane difference. Each week they say someone will call and no one will. They originally said someone will call 3-5 days before the move. This way you are out of the 7 day out cancelation fee. -we stated we have a large sectional couch and it was marked as a 3 seater couch so that will be an up charge. -we were told we could get a full cash refund as long as we cancel before the 7 days out. They then said that isn’t true we can only get a credit to use with them
