We were looking to buy a @ Murray Zero Turn Mower and asked to speak with someone...we waited for more than an hour while they contacted someone for us more than 4 times only to be sent someone who indicated he really didn't know anything about mowers. So we asked to see a manager 🤔. After waiting for about 20 or so minutes, a manager showed up...she turned out to be a Customer Service Manager according to her tag. I've never heard so many NO's in one ten-minute conversation. She explained that the long waiting times were due to short staffing during the spring 🤔. Then she contradicted there Website, several employees and a sign stating FREE DELIVERY. There was a time when managers knew what they were talking about. Retail businesses provided sales staff who were of service to their customers. Today customers are on their own all the way through checkout and sometimes may never see a store employee. And as for managers, it's just a title usually abused by the holder. I won't be shopping at Home Depot Rock Hill again. Oh yes, they lost a $3000 cash sale...NO STARS HERE!!

Read More Renting from Home Depot was like entering a secret society of DIY wizards. The staff there are so awesome; I felt like I was renting a welder from Dumbledore himself. They were the most professional equipment rental crew I've ever encountered, and trust me, I've had my share of adventures with rental equipment. The quality of the gear was so unreal that I briefly considered building my own construction-themed amusement park. Every piece looked like it had just come from the equipment spa, and they probably whisper sweet maintenance secrets to each other in the workshop. I could've had a picnic on the shop floor; it was that clean (though I wisely refrained from eating off it). And let's talk prices! They're more competitive than a limbo contest at a yoga convention. Plus, being able to conveniently pay my monthly dues at the store made my life easier than a Sunday morning crossword puzzle. With Home Depot having everything I needed to rent on hand, I can now tackle my "honey do's" like a pro and still have enough time to savor a cold beer and catch the game. It's like Home Depot waved its magic wand and turned my DIY to-dos into cheers and touchdowns! 🛠️🍺🏈😂
