They scar you with a lowball quote and purposefully leave items off your quote that you have told them to keep costs low. They then proceed to jump your quote up days before your move when you don’t have time to back out or cancel with them. They then proceed to add every single item they left off and have you sign a new contract or trash items you don’t want to pay to move. They also work with completely different company to move your items called PRIME MOVERS. So the team you’ve spoken to prior to your move are now nowhere to be found and you are talking to completely new people throughout the move. Signing yet another contract with a separate company. Not once did they reach out to me, I was always chasing them to find out an update on my delivery. It took them 1 month to deliver my items to Georgia from California because of truck problems and driver problems. My 42” television and my Carrara marble coffee table arrived broken in addition to other smaller pots and items. It has taken me 6 months to end my transaction with these people and right when I thought they were going to do the right thing and replace my television they broke, they did not. Simply because I would not sign their no disclosure form. I refused to stay quiet about this horrible experience. From poor customer service to poor handling and misleading sales tactics — I can safely say you will be better off using ANY other moving company. I hope to prevent anyone else from going through what I went through. Learn from my mistakes!
Good Friends Moving & Storage helped make my move from Southern California to GA very smooth. While true that they are a broker, the quote and contract were straight forward. My things arrived within the window and I had no issues with damaged or lost items. Will be recommending to others and use for future moves.
Good Friends Moving & Storage is a great company that communicates well, follows their promises, and are efficient. Friendly staff, efficient movers, and fair prices. Small hiccups but the staff resolved the hiccups immediately.
I highly recommend this moving company! They made my move so easy and painless. They were attentive and communicated with me the whole time. I got quotes from a lot of companies first and they were the most affordable out of the reputable companies. Don't be fooled by the cheap/bad/scam companies! 10/10
Our experience with this moving company was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. The process began under the company name Good Friends Moving Company. The initial pickup went smoothly, and afterward we requested a payment link. However, within two hours, I received calls and text messages from four different phone numbers asking for payment, even though we were still waiting for the link. The manager contacted me from two different numbers and used a completely different company name, US Prime Movers. This seemed suspicious, so I had to call the original sales representative to confirm that it was not a scam. Once it was verified, I contacted the manager again and made the payment. From that point forward, communication became very difficult. The manager rarely responded to emails, calls, or messages. When we finally connected by text several days later, he said we could no longer communicate that way because I had contacted him through two different numbers - even though those were numbers he already had. The original sales representative also stopped responding to my calls, so I eventually gave up trying to reach him. We agreed to communicate by email, but responses remained inconsistent. We requested corrections to the final contract because important information was wrong, including the point of contact and delivery destination. The manager said the changes were unnecessary. The paperwork listed the first delivery attempt as Monday, August 24, 2026, and I specifically requested by email that we receive at least one day's notice so the receiving party could be available. Instead, the delivery arrived unexpectedly on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at an office that was closed. The driver called both my personal and work numbers. When I returned the call, I was shocked to learn that the shipment was already being delivered on a Sunday. I scrambled to find someone in Alabama who could receive the items. I also called the manager, but once again, he did not answer. The only person who was consistently kind, helpful, and professional was the final driver. He was an independent contractor rather than a direct employee of the company, but he did everything he could to help during the confusion. He even expressed surprise at how poorly the situation had been handled. I am extremely grateful to him. Finally, when it was time to make the remaining payment, we discovered that payment could only be made through Zelle. This had not been clearly communicated to us. When I asked the manager for a payment link, he responded only by sending a picture of the contract showing that the final payment had to be made through Zelle. We then completed the payment that way. Overall, this experience involved multiple company names, numerous phone numbers, unanswered messages, incorrect paperwork, poor communication, an unannounced Sunday delivery, and unclear payment instructions. The pickup itself went well, and the final driver was exceptional, but the company's management and communication were highly disorganized and unprofessional. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company.
Good Friends did a seamless job that made our move so easy so I could focus on my family & other matters. Their sales & customer service departments were wonderful & made our move stress free. I recommend Good Friends 100%

This place is something else. When you book they seem so helpful and make it seem like it will be a seamless process and make it appear that they themselves are doing the moving. The exact opposite, when the movers(some contracted company ) it’s all about up charges and very shady stuff. You can no longer get ahold of “Good friends” and deal with people calling from various numbers and never even say who they are with other than “ the moving company”. So many issues to mention. Sounds like they are in a house rather than at a real business . Basically we told the movers to leave after they sat there for 3+ hrs doing nothing as we awaited a call from whoever was to take the next partial payment. In the end they try to get u to sign the “bill Of landing” as soon as they arrive so you are locked in. Thankfully we didn’t sign that as the shadiness was clear. We will be disputing with our bank to get the deposit back. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Prior to pick up date we got calls from 3 different numbers saying they were the moving company to confirm arrival time. The first date was changed due to “truck issues” then the time frame was changed at least 4 times and in one instance we got a call from one number confirming a window of time and then 5 min later another number called and tried to confirm a different time. The two callers didn’t even know about each other . DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY is the bottom line .
