My move yesterday went better than I expected because the workers were so professional. They took my directions well and made sure that the boxes for the kitchen ended up in the right spot. I liked that they stayed on task and did not spend time standing around or talking. It was a very simple process, and the results were exactly what I was looking for. I would use this service again if I ever have to shift my belongings to a different location.
I needed a storage unit for my seasonal bins and some old bins of books. These workers shifted the plastic tubs into the locker for me. They really made the process much easier and will use them again if I ever need to move.
It means a lot to me that you trust me as much as you do, and I appreciate all of your help getting our belongings from our house and into storage so we could focus on the renovations. My family seemed to be very happy, thus I have no hesitation in recommending your services.
The people who loaded and emptied the car did a great job. Because The Golden Glove Movers moved our furniture and other things without breaking, we have no problem telling anyone who needs a reliable, quick, and friendly moving service about them.
The crew treated our furniture much more carefully than some of the movers that I have worked with in the past. Handling of larger items was done properly and unloading was also organized.
When I unpacked my boxes, I found random items shoved in with my toiletries. There was a dirty rag in the same box as my clean towels. It was totally unsanitary.
The movers were polite, but the job took much longer than the original estimate. The extended timeline made the move more tiring and inconvenient. Better planning would have helped.
If you decide to use this company, I highly recommend you ask for a walk through quote and not one over the phone based on the items you go over/describe to Mike. Otherwise, you will most likely receive an updated quote at a higher rate the day of pick up. The company is not really attentive once the deposit is made and any missed/damage items will be a challenge getting replaced. My experience with this company was absolutely awful, and I would not recommend
