Delivery, promised for Saturday, was repeatedly delayed with poor communication, finally arriving Thursday with only one mover, forcing me to help unload. We found a roach in our belongings and damaged boxes. Customer service was unresponsive; after weeks of chasing, they offered a measly $5.40 for our troubles. Miscommunications, broken promises, and unprofessional conduct made this a nightmare. I strongly advise against using this company and will continue sharing my experience until they make this right. I had a lot of stuff to get to the storage unit before the end of the weekend, and this team made it happen. They arrived around 9 in the morning and started packing all the things right away. All my personal stuff was in the truck for a few hours, and during the unloading, each item was delivered safely.
The people who loaded and emptied the car did a great job. Because The Golden Glove Movers moved our furniture and other things without breaking, we have no problem telling anyone who needs a reliable, quick, and friendly moving service about them.
I had some breakable goods that I was worried about and the mirrors, picture frames and glass shelves were the ones that I was most concerned with. Before they began moving, the movers asked me which boxes required special attention. They wrapped the mirrors, made padding for the glass and put fragile objects in a secure area of the truck. I unpacked later and found no cracks or chips.
I was mostly worried about my piano and some old glass cabinets, but the team from Golden Glove Movers wrapped everything up so securely. You can tell they actually care about your stuff. Not a single scratch or dent on anything. I’d definitely use them again.
Moving day was stressful to begin with as there was a lot to be done, but the professional movers did most of the work. In the end, most of the work was finished in a much shorter time than we had anticipated.
The movers were polite, but the job took much longer than the original estimate. The extended timeline made the move more tiring and inconvenient. Better planning would have helped.
