You were scheduled for a same-day delivery, which requires full payment upon delivery in certified funds, as clearly outlined in both the signed contract and the welcome email you received prior to the move. This payment policy is standard, documented in writing, and not introduced at the time of delivery. Regarding the truck size, the truck dispatched was exactly what you purchased: a full 26-foot truck (approximately 1,700 cubic feet). You were charged only for this full truck—not one dollar more. If additional space had been required beyond that capacity, it would have resulted in additional charges; however, you were already provided the maximum available truck size. Packing services were not included or purchased in your order. Your file does not indicate professional packing services, which is why the crew used packing materials on-site as needed. The only additional charge incurred—$940—was solely for packing materials, not labor or packing services. At no point was payment “extorted.” Payment was required prior to final delivery per the agreed-upon terms. When payment could not be completed at that time, the carrier followed protocol. Regarding the alleged damages, we are still awaiting clear photos of the items in question. Once received, we can proceed with the formal claims process in accordance with carrier guidelines. We regret that your experience did not meet expectations; however, the services rendered, truck size dispatched, charges applied, and payment requirements were all in accordance with the contract you reviewed and signed.
