Read More Movers did not show up on the agreed upon move in date (booked several months prior). Representatives behaved extremely unprofessionally throughout the ordeal. They did not find an alternative mover and, as a result, I had to leave my furniture behind in a different state.

What a scam. Save your time, and go with a more reputable company.

Absolutely horrible. I heard great things about these guys, but horrendous would be an understatement. I paid for a full service: pack, load, unload, and unpack. Where do ... Read More Absolutely horrible. I heard great things about these guys, but horrendous would be an understatement. I paid for a full service: pack, load, unload, and unpack. Where do I begin? The guys come a day before to start packing, but they didn’t stop there, they basically wanted to start loading it into the truck the previous day which essentially annoyed the super because it wasn’t approved to load the day before. They wanted to do it as fast as they can to get additional jobs to move so they wanted to load the previous day. Broken glasses, a towel completely bleached, they unpacked by taking things out of the boxes and dropping it everywhere in the apartment and not having the decency to actually put it in places where it belongs (I paid for the services btw). Then basically forced me to pay 20% tip by declining a 5% tip which I initially wanted to) for the worse possible job that they could do and the entire experience was useless. If I could give 0 stars I would, please stay away from them. There are multiple other good services out there!

Although this was not correct , Joel, who is abroad was very helpful in getting this issue resolved. I am am older person and yet he took his time to resolve an issue that should not have been addressed to him. This is the kind of employee that makes a company better. Bravo to having a person that actually cares.

Read More I used these guys for the first time and had a great experience. Steven from truck 108 was the best mover I've ever used. He was kind, efficient, and very fast. Communicated well before arrival, and showed up a few mins early. Best moving experience I've ever had, and I move quite a lot.

Read More DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had the worst moving experience with Dumbo Moving. I had two scheduled moves on the same week. The first move with this Dumbo Moving was straightforward with no issues. It was the complete opposite experience on day two. One of the movers was completely unprofessional and kept referring to me as a “liar” because he said I had more bags than reported, which I explained was due to last minute packing which only resulted in a few extra bags. They used this to justify charging me an additional $250, which I had to pay or less they wouldn’t deliver my property which was already loaded onto the moving truck. After I paid the $250 my belongings was transported to my address and then the mover proceeded to try squeeze additional money from me by complaining that the area had poor parking and the hallway was too long. We proceeded to argue back and forth, which I told him I am not giving you any more money as this move was already over priced for a local move. The movers continued to be rude and unprofessional throughout the move. It was the worst experience of moving I ever had. It added additional stress to an already stressful situation. If you can AVOID using Dumbo Moving, then AVOID using them. They are horrible. Update: I also left a review of what happened on red-it and yelp. They saw my yelp review and contacted me to discuss my experience and offered me a partial refund of my total cost. The refund offered was fair and I appreciated it.
