The Direct Relocation Services LLC movers and packers, who performed well. Everything was organized properly in the boxes, and they set up my new home according to my instructions. These guys are the best.
Run don't walk away from this company. Yes ***** seems like he will take care of your stuff. Its been over a year of their pick up, then delivery of half of my items, then trying to settle with them. ****** and crew arrived 3 days late 3/21/24 for pickup in ** with a an already full truck. They placed tiny numbered stickers on my items then completely commingled them with someone else items to fit all into truck. Barely able to shut door. I was assured that my items were in warehouse as I waited for them to complete delivery in ** on 7/25/24. Which was well after the expected delivery timeframe. Surprise. A NY registered freighter delivered only half of my items which included boxes of original framed art work, moms Royal Daulton china, irreplaceable heirlooms, and furniture. Then I began the Claims process online. This is a sketchy company as they make it difficult to fill in lengthy details in forms online. Multiple attempts to complete them took hours then they would get deleted. Don't try to call them as they have a friendly automated answering system that puts you on hold for 10 minutes then abruptly drops your call. I called about 20 times, same each time. I emailed and requested forms to be mailed to me. These emails had automated responses. Finally ***** was able to have them mail the forms. These were filled out by me and returned through Certified mail then second time through Registered mail. Today I am informed that after their review, Direct Relocation is willing to pay me $75! The value and weight of items is easily $10,000. Not to mention I paid for delivery of twice as many items than they delivered. I wasn't even seeking damages for items I did receive. They wrapped items in shipping blankets to take to warehouse then removed those blankets. Some had their coded stickers on them so easy to see how that system falls apart. I give them a 1 rating for their friendly demeanor as they rob you blind.
Shane was great. However when I needed to cancel my move getting my deposit back was a very bad experience. They said 10-14 days. It’s been 23 day/17 business days and I still haven’t received it. They told me there is a cue. Feels like a Ponzi scheme where they only refund when they get a new account. To be clear they didn’t provide any service. This was a deposit.
When I emailed the staff to request an estimate pricing quotation for my long-distance move, they responded immediately. They respond incredibly fast to all my requirements. It was a huge help to decide what to move and which item I should donate. These were helpful beyond expectations. Extremely grateful for the assistance they offered!
I needed to move a fully furnished apartment on short notice after a lease issue, and Michael managed to schedule me within 48 hours. They arrived right on time, packed up everything efficiently, and completed the move in one smooth day with zero complications. I couldn’t be more grateful!
Since moving can be expensive, we were worried about the costs. Fortunately, Michael and his team provided a clear quote without any surprise fees and offered reasonably priced packing supplies. We stayed within our budget thanks to their team's quick efforts to reduce labor costs! Without a doubt, we would hire them again!
The moving people that I hired are moving a container from another state. They unloaded it efficiently and carefully moved everything into my home. I recommend them!
In order to ensure that my valuable piano was transported securely, Direct Relocation Services service went above and beyond. When it was delivered and when it was received, the piano was in exactly the same condition. I much more like how they cushioned and covered it.
The movers were careful with our floors and furniture, using floor protectors and blankets. Our home looked perfect after the move. I recommend this service to anyone that needs assistance.
I downsized from a three-bedroom house to a small apartment and needed help with a bunch of furniture, boxes, and some heavy appliances. The movers didn’t rush, helped me figure out where things would fit, and even offered a hand moving a few things around in the new place. I was so tired by that point, and they just made it easier. Super grateful for the effort they put in.
