My heavy belongings gave me pause, but the movers made short work of them. On time, Christopher and Thomas reassured me that everything was in good hands. In addition, I would recommend you to my friends and family.
In order to ensure that my valuable piano was transported securely, Direct Relocation Services service went above and beyond. When it was delivered and when it was received, the piano was in exactly the same condition. I much more like how they cushioned and covered it.
I had a lot of weirdly shaped furniture and I knew that something would be scratched or dented, but these guys knew exactly what to do with it all. They took the time to carefully wrap each piece, moved through doorways, and left no mark behind. 100% recommended!
The worst experience of my life. This moving company was absolutely terrible from start to finish. They turned out to be a THIRD-PARTY service. The stress they caused us was beyond anything we could have imagined. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and emotional burden—do not hire this company. It was a nightmare we wouldn’t wish on anyone.
Before my move, I had a few questions and ended up speaking with Jeremiah, who explained everything clearly and gave solid advice about packing. That helped a lot since I was doing most of it on my own. On the day of the move, the crew followed through on everything we discussed. They were professional, focused, and careful with my things the entire time.
Shane was great. However when I needed to cancel my move getting my deposit back was a very bad experience. They said 10-14 days. It’s been 23 day/17 business days and I still haven’t received it. They told me there is a cue. Feels like a Ponzi scheme where they only refund when they get a new account. To be clear they didn’t provide any service. This was a deposit.
I appreciated how Jeremiah kept things light while still being professional. Their friendly attitude made the day enjoyable, and the rest of the team followed their example. It was a great moving experience overall.
Before loading our large appliances and electronics, the movers categorized everything into three categories: garbage, donations, and items to keep. I had no idea a relocation could be so well-planned.
When I emailed the staff to request an estimate pricing quotation for my long-distance move, they responded immediately. They respond incredibly fast to all my requirements. It was a huge help to decide what to move and which item I should donate. These were helpful beyond expectations. Extremely grateful for the assistance they offered!
This has been the worst experience I have ever had. If you're capable of it, I would suggest getting a U-haul and doing it yourself. On Pick-up, they were 4 hours late on their time window. They gave me an estimated date of 8-16-2024. They showed up on the 21st. They had another window saying they would be here between 7am and 12pm. The movers didn't show up until 4pm. I ended up helping them move my stuff in due to having to be at work in the evening and speed up the process. Going through everything, I've noticed they did not give my my pc. I asked the driver if it was in one of the large boxes that were heavy and he told me yes. This is incorrect. None of these boxes contain my computer. It was packaged in it's own co tainer by the original movers. $3,000 PC lost. I would highly suggest finding another moving company, or just finding out how to do it yourself. Moving from California to Louisiana was already stressful enough. Sleeping on an air mattress, buying items I've already had previously to cook and eat with was annoying and aggravating. The original "Estimate" was hiked up another $1400 on top of all this. I'd rather have just bought all new things if I knew I was going to get a shady, incompetant company to trust with my stuff. To add insult to injury, I have emailed Claudia, the dispatcher, and have called with no follow-up whatsoever. Do not waste your time or money. This has been a disaster from the start.
